Xi'an is a world-class historical and cultural city with profound Chinese cultural heritage, the starting point of the overland Silk Road, carrying the heavy responsibility of cultural exchanges between China and the West, and is also a modern metropolis full of economic vitality.
So, what kind of appearance should be presented by designing a super high-rise tower for this well-known "ancient capital of the Thirteen Dynasties" as a new business card of the city and culture?
Urban context
The project base is located in Xi'an High-tech Zone, the west side of the Tang City Wall Ruins Park green belt, the south side is close to the Mutasi Ecological Heritage Park, the base is the high-tech road axis of the urban open space requirements everything as two, becoming two near the triangle of the building land.
01, oriental aesthetics, large and medium to positive
The Chinese guqin, the art of righteousness, and the six qi, to transmit the sound of the sage ruling the world.
Inspired by the spirit and temperament of the guqin, WOWA Architects has endowed modern urban landmarks with its unique oriental beauty.

In the design of this building of more than 500 meters, we express the philosophical view of oriental aesthetics, such as a humble gentleman, gentle as jade, jade tree facing the wind, straight and indestructible.

02. Observation deck
In the design of the observation deck at the top of the tower, we take the meaning of Chinese folk art and intangible cultural heritage - "bamboo lantern".

Combined with the crown design of the roof of the top slope of the tower, a unique indoor space experience is formed, just like a pure and happy sea potato flower.

03, the design of the main artery, core tube and vertical traffic of super high-rise buildings
For the daily flow of 8000 ~ 10000 + 500 meters above the tower, multi-storey ground and underground lobby, reasonable vertical functional partitioning, sky lobby, high-speed direct elevator, partition elevator, efficient core tube design, are the standard of this project, the core tube is the main artery of the building, with nutrients, active the entire building; efficient core tube design, not only increase the building room rate, but also the building's vertebrae, providing structural rigidity.

Super high-rise complex is a combination of the highest technical difficulty in the design of the complex, in addition to the need to become a city cultural business card, carving urban space, its own internal complex functions, dynamic line planning and integration of various systems, the need for various professions, such as mechanical and electrical, structure, transportation, elevator, fire, commercial, wind tunnel, curtain wall, damper consultant early cooperation, design team design, technology and integration ability need to have the most extreme performance and play, WOWA's past experience in designing Beijing China Zun at KPF has contributed greatly to and inherited this project.
In the end, this project also faces the fate of reducing height and design modification, but we believe that the aesthetic concept and concept of this design will accompany us and have a more wonderful transformation in the future.
