After Temujin divided the steppe, he was forced to break with the Krebu, and after destroying the Krebu, the Barbarians became Temujin's only opponent in the Mongolian steppe. The nobles who were defeated at the hands of Temujin gathered in the Court of the Naiman Khan in an attempt to use the power of the Sun Khan to regain their lost cattle, sheep and pastures. However, the steppe people did not want the situation of tribal formations to repeat itself, and the Sun Khan, who had not fought and did not measure up to his own strength, was also vulnerable, and the era of Mongolian steppe unification had finally arrived!
After the barbarian generals killed Wang Han, they sent someone to report the Sun Khan. Sun Khan thought of himself as the people of the great state and never took Mongolia seriously. However, Temujin's rise to Shuofang and annex the various tribes, especially the defeat of the powerful Krebe, could not but shock Sun Khan. The civilian generals around sun khan also felt that this matter should be taken seriously. Sun Khan's stepmother and favorite concubine Gu'er Beisuo, one is out of curiosity, the other is to ask about state affairs, and is more eager to know the truth of the matter.

When Sun Khan's father died, he left behind a young and beautiful concubine named Gu'er Beso. Sun Khan adopted him as his concubine according to the custom of "wife and stepmother" at that time. Gu'er Beisu not only favored the harem, but also monopolized power and good government, so as to interfere in political affairs.
When she heard that General Bian had killed an old man who called himself "Wang Han", she immediately told Sun Khan to take the old man's head and look at it, and if it was really Wang Han, she would sacrifice it with a ritual.
Sun Khan immediately sent someone to inform Huoli Subechi to cut off the old man's head and send it to khan's court for identification. "They sent his head to their own monarch Sun Khan", placing it on a large white felt. Many people have seen Wang Han, and it is naturally not difficult to recognize Wang Han's face.
Sun Khan complained about the recklessness of Theouri, saying, "Why kill such a great monarch?" He should be brought alive. But man could not be resurrected from the dead, and his head fell off and could not be re-grown, and sun khan "In order to show Wang Han's greatness and respect, he ordered that Wang Han's head be set with silver and placed on his throne for a certain period of time."
Subsequently, the Sun Khan ordered a memorial ceremony to be held for Wang Han, which was equivalent to a memorial service, so that his civil servants would sacrifice him with the courtesy of the courtiers, and his daughter-in-law would sacrifice him with the ceremony of his daughter-in-law, and set up a liquor and Chen Nüle to treat Wang Han with the king's funeral. Sun Khan stared intently at Wang Han's head, momentarily distracted, and suddenly found that Wang Han was smiling. This laugh was no small feat, and Sun Sweat was scared out of a cold sweat. He probably realized that putting a head on his throne was always an ominous sign, so he quickly ordered someone to throw Wang Han's head aside and smash it with his foot.
The old minister of Nai man, Keke Xue Wu Sabulahei, was very dissatisfied with sun khan's behavior, and he made an opinion on the spot, saying: Wang Han is already dead, and you sent someone to cut off his head and let people stomp it, is it proper to do this? Lately, "the sound of dogs barking is very bad", as if there is an ominous omen.
It is also difficult for the prophet to detect Bileg Khan: I am old, this woman is young, and the son is too weak. He was a child born of prayer, like an inexperienced, untrained pony, not much of a prodigy. And most of us who are barbarians have the problem of underestimating people, can he control me, the people? Now the dog barks with the sound of defeat, Gu'er Bessaul and "governs the road sharply", the use of the law is too strict, the sun sweat you are mediocre and cowardly, in addition to the release of eagles, hunting, yu has nothing to worry about, and can not do anything. How can a situation like this deal with sudden events?
Sun Khan did not like the nagging words of the old minister, nor did he understand the strength of Temujin, and said in a very contemptuous tone: I heard that there were a few Mongols in the east who frightened the elderly old King Han with bows and arrows, causing the old man to run away and die at the hands of our generals. Could it be that Temujin really wants to be an emperor? There are two suns and moons in the sky, and the sun and moon can bring light to people. Where on earth can there be two emperors? I'm going to go on a crusade against them myself.
Gu'er Beisu could not listen to the old minister's words, and began to frown, and then he sneered, took the words of sun khan, and said in the tone of an empress of a big country: What do we want these Mongols to do? I heard that the Mongolian people are full of gas and their clothes are stained with oil, and they should stay away from me after they take them. If there are beautiful daughters-in-law and girls, you may wish to choose a few, let them take a good bath, change into clean clothes, and send a messenger to milk cows and goats. In order to please Gu'er's dislike, Sun Khan replied confidently: How difficult is it to find a few female slaves? I'm going to mongolia and take all their arrows and bows!"
Sun Khan and Gulbetsu so rashly decided to launch a war against the Mongols. Seeing that they were dealing with such a serious and serious attitude toward such a major matter concerning the rise and fall of the country, the old minister of Nai man, Ke Ke Xue Wu Sabura, was very worried, and sighed and said, "Don't talk too big. Humble Khan, is it appropriate for you to make such a decision? War is a big deal, it should be kept secret, how can it be shouted like this? Sun Khan has long been partial to the West, born in the deep palace, grown up in the hands of palace women, pampered, not difficult, ignorant of current affairs, and does not know how much weight it is to declare war on the enemy country, he disregards the persuasion of his old ministers and decides to duel with Temujin. Such a king has a reason to be undefeated.
In the southeast of the Naimanbu there is a Wanggudu, whose minister is named Ah Lai Ku Lost Jin. The Jin Dynasty "used the mountain as the boundary to limit the north and south", and the Wang Gubu "strangled it with an army" to guard the border trenches of the national border for the Jin Dynasty. The ancestors of the Naimanbu had married the daughter of Wanggubu, so Naiman and Wanggu were called the kingdom of uncles and nephews. Sun Khan first sent an emissary to contact Wang Gubu, this emissary was named Zhuo Kunan.
After he arrived at Wanggubu, he conveyed to Minister Wanggu the intention of sun khan: "It is said that there is a new king in these regions, he means Genghis Khan), and we know very well that there is a sun in the sky and a moon, but how can there be two kings on the earth in a territory?" You do my right hand, send troops to help me, let us take his quiver, that is to say, take his title! Minister Wang Gu witnessed Temujin's achievements over the years, "Taizu knew the courage, and eventually became a big thing, and decided to return to it." Believing that Temujin has both wisdom and courage and can achieve great things, Sun Khan is not Temujin's opponent, so he decides to reject Sun Khan and submit to Temujin. Ignoring the objections of some of his subordinates, he ordered the arrest of Zhuo Kunan, the emissary of the Sun Khan, "that is, to send his subordinates to The Emperor Of the Sun(Sun Khan)" to send Zhuo Kuo to Taizu for the plot of taking the Yang (Sun Khan). Temujin "rewarded the horse with two thousand hooves and two thousand horns of the sheep", thanked Minister Wang Gu with five hundred horses and one thousand sheep, and said: "I have the world in another day, xi ru's retribution, and the heavens are really supervised!" Temujin invited Minister Wanggu to join him in his crusade against sun khan.
When the emissaries of Wanggubu arrived, Temujin led his men to hunt at Timai. Faced with the threat of an imminent attack by the Noburi, Temujin had to seriously study countermeasures. It was the spring of 1204, and Temujin held a kuritai ("Kuritai" means a great gathering in Mongolian for "Kuritai" in the Main Temple of Bald Lekule at Timai, where major events such as conquest and khan were convened).
Many generals said, "Our horses are thin, let's feed the horses, and send troops in the autumn!" "War horses are the main combat tools of all departments of the grassland, and the lack of green and yellow in spring, the lack of water and grass, and the emaciation of war horses are indeed not conducive to combat. Therefore, at that time, the grassland departments often chose the season of autumn high horse fat. It is not unreasonable for Temujin's subordinates to put forward this reason against the war, but it also contains elements of fear of the powerful barbarians and fear of the enemy. Temujin's younger brothers, Cho ti Chi Jin and Bele Gutai, disagreed with this opinion, and Te Ti Chi Jin said, "Then, why do we use Ma Thin as a reason?" We heard this kind of thing once, but we went out! How can we let sun sweat come and arrest us - let's go and catch him! Let people say: The Sun Sweat is here! Our reputation will go far! As for whether we catch Him or He catches us, [that only] the great Gods know! Well, let's send troops! ”
Belegutai said: If you are alive and your bow and arrow are taken away by the enemy, what is the use of living? The boy is born as a great husband, and when he dies, he will make the bow and arrow lie with the corpse. But the barbarians made such a big speech with the people of the great state, and I should cut it down and take their bows and arrows, how difficult is it? No matter how many of their horses they had, they had to be honestly left behind; their men could flee, but their palaces could not be taken away; though they were numerous, they were incompetent people who would only run up the hill when they started a war. How can sun khan say such a big thing, how can we be indifferent? I think we should immediately send troops to fight! "If the Barbarians take your quiver, our bones will not be buried together." "If we win, won't we be able to take their arrows?"
Temujin admired the bravery and fearlessness of Chijin and Belegutai and said happily, "In this way, the multitude of battles will not be overcome." So he immediately ordered the end of the hunt and moved the camp to the Khratthalti Heda on the banks of the Khalhe River, preparing for a decisive battle with Naiman.
After the reorganization of the troops was completed, Temujin first "ordered Ah Er Bao Hesar to select brave and healthy men, from the Hele Hehe River, to the land where the Wu Ke Le Ti should be answered, and to go out on a campaign against the barbarian people." In 1204, on April 16, the year of the Rat in the Year of the Mongol Chronicle (甲子), the Temujin Brigade set out to sacrifice the flag, with Thebetsu and Kublai as the vanguard, and marched along the Timid Green River. After mid-April, the Mongolian steppe returns to green in spring and flourishes in June. From the Hulunbuir Grassland to the Altai Mountains where the Naimanburi are located, the bird road is 3,300 miles, and the pedestrians are twisting and turning, when there are 5,000 or 6,000 miles away. The Mongol army was cavalry, marching thousands of miles, all on horsepower, each with a few horses to replace. Warhorses needed to eat grass and warriors needed to eat, so the expeditionary army had to go all the way nomadic and hunting all the way, and by the time it reached the Area of Sari on the border of Naiman, it was estimated that it was already the autumn of that year.
Sun Khan led his army across the Altai Mountains and set up camp on the Banks of the Hari River in the Hangai Mountains. Almost all the old nobles of the Mongolian steppe who were defeated by Temujin gathered around sun khan, including zamuhe of the Zadalan tribe, the detachment of the qi'er begbu, the Alin Taishi of the Keliebu, the Ku bald hebi beg of the Huoyi labu, and the remnants of the Duo'erbian, Tatar, Hedajin, and Shankukun, who were strong and strong, and the sun khan also thought that he was victorious.
Along the Han River, Temujin's reconnaissance forces (sentinels) and Naiman's patrol force encountered each other, and the two sides competed with each other. A light-colored green and white horse, dragging a broken saddle that had been reversed under its belly, strayed from temujin's army into the Naiman camp and was captured by the Naiman. When the barbarians saw that the Mongol warhorses were so thin and weak that they could not even ride their saddles, they could not help but rejoice in themselves.
Soon, Temujin led the Chinese army to the front line and immediately studied the operational strategy with his subordinate generals. Duo Wei Er will offer a plan to Temujin and say, "We have come from far and wide, but we can only herd horses here." There were many suspicious soldiers, and the ground of this Satri was covered, and at night he had people burn five places in each place. Although there are many barbarians, but the sun sweat is weak, it must be suspicious. In this way, my horse is full, and then I will chase after the other side and look at him, and go straight to the camp, and strike it untidy, and I will surely win. ”
Temujin took the advice of Duo Erbi, let the various tents open a large distance between them, and arranged many suspicious soldiers, trying to fill his army with the wilderness of Saari. At night, "whoever has a life, each fires five places", let each person light five piles of fire, creating the illusion of many people and horses.
This bluff tactic did indeed serve as a deterrent, and when the barbarian sentry saw this scene from the top of Hangai Mountain, one by one he was stunned and said, "Is this Mongolia?" They have more torches than stars! So they quickly sent the white horse with a broken saddle to the river Hari, and reported to the Sun Khan: "The Mongol army has filled the field of Sari, and it seems to be growing day by day, and its fire is more than the stars." ”
After receiving this information, Sun Khan did not seriously analyze it, so he sent someone to tell his son Qu Chulu to prepare to retreat backwards, and the emissary said to Qu Chulu: Although the Mongol war horses are emaciated, there are more campfires than stars, and "they are sure that there are many people." I've heard people say, "Dada is hard every time." Thorns on the eyes, do not turn the eyes; cheeks on the thorns, do not dodge. "If we were to fight them today, we would be in a state of doom. At present, they are tired from afar, and their war horses are thin, so we might as well lead our troops across the Golden Mountains (Altai Mountains), reorganize their military horses, use the method of fighting dogs, and fight and go, lure the enemy deeper, see the opportunity, and suddenly counterattack. By the time we reached the foothills of the Golden Mountains, our fat horses were lighter and more muscular, while the Mongol war horses were more tired. Then turn around and launch a general attack on them, "throwing them in the face", knife, gun, bow and arrow all at the same time, so that a complete victory can be achieved! The son of the Sun Khan was full of law and blood, brave and resourceful, and did not listen to the command of the Sun Khan at all, but instead taunted the Sun Khan in front of the envoys: the Sun Khan in the towel was timid again, so he said such words. Where did so many Mongols come from? Isn't most of Mongolia with Zamu in our place? Where did Temujin increase his troops? "My father Tayang, where pregnant women change clothes, where calves graze, have never arrived", my father Khan grew up in the deep palace, never left the place where pregnant women pee, not even to the pasture where the calves were grazing, just heard that the enemy came timidly, really like a woman! My father never left a place where women pee. This proves that the Sun Khan is longer than the deep palace and knows nothing.
The envoys of the Sun Khan were sent back by Qu Chulu and truthfully reported to the Sun Khan the reaction of Qu Chulu. Sun Khan was furious, but he had no choice, saying: A powerful and courageous bending law, wait until the day when the two sides meet and kill each other, and do not lose their courage. If you continue to fight like this, it is bound to be difficult to solve!
Sun Khan's subordinate general, Kurisubetsu Chi, was also very dissatisfied with Sun Khan's cowardice, saying: In the past, your father had difficulty detecting Bileg Khan, and when he was an equal enemy, he never made the enemy see the back of the boy and the crotch of the war horse. You are now young and powerful, why are you so timid? Knowing this, it would be better to let Gu'er quickly command the army! belch! What a pity, Keke Xue Wu Sabrina black is already old! Whatever! The discipline of our army has been relaxed! Probably the Mongols came to work? Woohoo! Don't be ashamed, as cowardly and incompetent as you, what hope do we have? After saying that, he sighed, "Knock the whip and go away", and immediately took the arrow barrel and went elsewhere.
Sun Khan was really enraged this time, and said to the people on the left and right: "The lives of people who die, the hard bodies, are all average." You say oh, let's go and fight him. "A boy has a hundred years, and eventually there will be a death; a seven-foot body, a hard life, who dares to speak alone." These people are outspoken, and we are not afraid to give up our lives in a war! So he gathered his troops at Hangai Mountain, crossed the Orkhon River, and lined up in front of the cliffs of Naku Mountain to inspect the qi'er ma Wu Ti and prepare for a decisive battle with Temujin.
The reconnaissance personnel rushed to report to Temujin: The main force of Naiman has opened up. Temujin immediately issued a battle order: "More and more, less and less, and the damage is great!" "Ask your subordinates to win more with less and fight bravely." Enter the peach peel bush, swing like a sea, attack like a chisel and fight"! Everyone is required to advance in a low posture like a peach bark bush; to form a position like the sea and surround it from all sides; to drive straight in like a chisel into the wood and directly to the middle of the army. Temujin himself served as the vanguard, and ordered Hesar to command the Chinese army, and the general Ofi Chijin to take charge of the rearguard. The Barbarian army retreated from the Chaqi Erma Wuti to the naku cliff and took a position along the foothills. Temujin's sentry drove away the sentry of the Barbarians, all the way to the Great Chinese Army in front of the Naku Cliff.
Sun Khan found that the Mongol army was fighting very bravely, and the barbarians were forced to retreat step by step, standing in front of the Naku Cliff and asking Zamuhe in detail about the Mongol armies. Sun Khan asked: Who are the ones who came all the way, "like wolves driving the sheep straight into the pen?" "I, Temujin, have four dogs fed with human flesh and tied with rope chains. Those who drive me to the sentinel, cover this generation also." Zamuhe recognized several of them at a glance, they were Temujin's four tiger generals. Zazamuhe said: They "chiseled teeth on the forehead, cone-tongued iron hearts, made horse whips with plutonium knives, and rode the wind with dew." When fighting, eat human flesh. Now I put the iron rope, and I salivate that I like to come also." Their names are Zebei, Kubilai, Le contempt, and Subutai.
Sun Khan was a little frightened and said, "Hey! Let us stay away from these inferiors, lest we be humiliated by them. So he retreated from the cliff and moved his position up the hill. Sun Khan noticed that behind them, there were some people who were coming around in formation, so he asked: Who are these people? They were like foals released in the morning, as if they had finished their breast milk and then circled around again. You see their brigade of people and horses, "running in groups and raising dust", swinging out of the circle, rushing in groups, which clan are they?
When Zamu he looked at the other side's flag, he immediately recognized them again, saying: They are the ones who specialize in driving away the good men with guns and "robbing the bloody wealth of others"; they are the people who specialize in driving away the good men with knives, slashing them and robbing them of their family assets. They are the so-called Wulu Wuti and Busy Kuti. They were probably not happy today, so they came together.
Sun Khan was startled when he heard this, and said, "Hey! However, it is far from its humiliation! So he ordered the Chinese battalion to continue moving towards another hill. Sun Khan did not command the troops to charge the front, but commanded the troops to retreat step by step, but the Mongol army was advancing step by step. Sun Khan then asked Zamuhe, "Who will follow him, such as the predator of the Hungry Eagle and the first to come?" Zamuhe looked in the direction pointed by Sun Khan, and at a glance saw Temujin, who was the pioneer of himself, and said, "Here comes temujin, and I answer Temujin." "He was made of raw copper all over his body, and he could not find a gap by piercing it with an iron cone; he forged it from head to toe with wrought iron, and he could not find a seam with a needle." My Temujin replied, just like the predation of the hungry eagle, so fierce to come also, Ru Qi saw it"? The barbarians once said: If you see the Tartars, wipe them clean, and leave no hooves of a lamb. This is the commander-in-chief of the Tatars, take a closer look!
The sun sweat saw Temujin rampage, as if entering no man's land, scared out of a cold sweat, said: "Ah (sincere) fearful also, its climbing and array!" So Naiman's position moved to a higher hill. Just after gaining a firm foothold, Sun Khan pointed to the people behind him and asked: Behind Temujin, "Whoever is coming from the crowd?" Zamuhe said, "He is a son of Mother Khao Erlun, raised with human flesh." "This man is about three years tall, can eat a three-year-old calf at a meal, wears triple armor, and rides three yaks." He will swallow all the men with bows and arrows, without obstructing the throat; swallow a whole person, without hooking (enough) snacks." When he was angry, he drew his bow and put his forked arrow, which could shoot through one or twenty people on the mountain. When fighting the enemy, it also draws its bow and puts its large arrow, which can shoot through the wild crossers. The big lead releases arrows nine hundred searches, and the small leads release arrows five hundred searches. He was born differently, with a body as strong as a great demon. His name was Humble Chihesar.
Sun Khan was stunned and said, "Hey! However, the height of the mountain is running! "The barbarians climbed the mountain and withdrew to a higher place. Sun Khan asked again, "Who will follow him?" Zamuhe said, "The youngest son of the mother of The Noble Mother, known as the Filial Piety Ofi Chijin." "This person often sleeps early and often wakes up late, but he does not lag behind in the fight, and he does not fall behind in the rush to kill."
Seeing a Mongol general, Sun Khan asked Zamuhe; when a Mongol army was killed, Sun Khan asked Zamuhe. Zamuhe vividly introduced him to the situation of the Mongol army, and there were many exaggerated boasts. However, seeing the brave charge of the Mongol army, Sun Khan had long been frightened and helpless, and completely lost confidence in victory. Under his orders one by one, the large battalion of the Chinese army moved step by step to the top of the mountain, and there was no way to retreat.
Zamu saw temujin's "military appearance and rectification", and found that the Sun Khan was even more incompetent than the old king of the Krekreb, so he said to his own Nakemen: "Look, [my] righteous brother Genghis Khan's army is really different in position and battle formation!" After saying this, he led his troops out of the Naiman position, and then sent someone to tell Temujin about the situation of the Naiman, saying: "The Sun Khan has now heard what I said, and he has fainted from shock, and they all rushed to the top of the high mountain, and there is no atmosphere of fighting." I have left him, and I have answered you the prudent. ”
After a day of fighting, Temujin's army surrounded Nakuya and camped at night. The barbarian army lived in a relatively stable environment for a long time, could not withstand the onslaught of the Mongols, and was afraid that after the position was breached, it would become a ghost under the sword of the Mongols. That night, many people tried to find a mountain road to escape for their lives, but the result was counterproductive, "self-absorption on the cliff mountain, rolling down the bottom of the ravine, piling up the pile, breaking bones and bones, accumulating like rotten wood, pressing and dying."
The next day, Temujin pacified sun khan's barbarian army. The self-righteous and invincible Qu Chulu ignored the death of sun khan and fled with a few people. Sun Khan himself was shot to the core by the Mongol army and suffered several serious wounds on his body.
The Battle of Nakuya ended with Temujin's total victory. The remnants of the Zadalan, Hedajin, Shanzhu kun, Duo'erbian, Taichiwu, and Hongjira, who had defected to the Sun Khan, surrendered to Temujin one after another, and only a few people, such as Zamuhe and Qi'er Begbe's father and son, fled to the far side. The people and subjects of the Naiban tribe became Temujin's captives, and even Sun Khan's stepmother and favorite concubine Gu'er Bessou also became Temujin's wife. Temujin asked her, "Didn't you say that the Mongols smell bad?" Why surrender today? The subjugation of the country and the extinction of the species, the concubines of the people, this is the consequence of the indomitable, incompetent and talentless Sun Khan to the Barbarians. The powerful Naimanbu, which was numerous and culturally progressive, was crushed in only one day and one night under temujin's attack.
