The Qin Dynasty existed for only 15 years (221 BC – 207 BC), after which the Han Dynasty died.

The Han Dynasty (202 BC - 220 AD) was a unified dynasty after the Qin Dynasty, divided into the Western Han and Eastern Han Dynasties, with a total of 29 emperors and 407 years of the country. The Han Dynasty was the most advanced civilization and powerful empire in the world at that time. At the height of the Han Dynasty, the two Han Dynasties were connected to Korea in the east, Vietnam in the south, onion ridges in the west, and Mongolia in the north, with a land area of about 6.09 million square kilometers. Since the Han Dynasty, the Huaxia people have gradually been known as the Han nationality, the so-called "strong Han Sheng Tang", when the Han Dynasty was at its peak, the strong military strength and fearless national spirit made the reputation of the Han Empire spread to the Roman Empire in Europe. "Whoever commits a crime against me as a strong man will be punished from afar", this famous saying, I believe that no one does not know.

At the beginning of the Western Han Dynasty, several emperors can be described as a top-notch stick. Liu Bang, Emperor Wen of Han, Liu Qi, Emperor Jing of Han, and Liu Che, Emperor of Han, will talk about Liu Heng, Emperor Wen of Han today.

The Strange Man of Chinese History - Liu Heng, Emperor Wen of Han

To introduce Liu Heng well, we must first start with Liu Bang.

Liu Bang founded the Han Dynasty and was the first civilian emperor in Chinese history. Liu Bang has a personality of perseverance and more setbacks, and his success lies in his ability to fight wisdom and never fight, know how to deal with interpersonal relations, know people well, and have superb leadership ability to employ and control people. But these are not what I want to say today, today I want to talk about a private matter of Liu Bang, Liu Bang only happened to be a concubine once, he gave birth to a son, this boy also became the emperor, creating the first prosperous era in the history of Chinese feudalism! The so-called "give me a chance, give you a surprise", as far as the Han Dynasty is concerned, the biggest surprise came from a palace girl with a low status.

Liu Bang's harem is well known to us as Lü Hou, Lady Cao, Lady Qi, Zhao Ji, Lady Guan, Zhao Zi'er, Shi Meiren, etc., but after more than ten years, these concubines and their sons have not been able to become victors, on the contrary, a low-status female worker, like a hanging life, accurately seized every opportunity, and finally became the empress dowager.

During the Qin Dynasty, the bo man of Wu County had an affair with Wei Mi, the daughter of Emperor Wu of the Wei Dynasty, and gave birth to a daughter, Bo Ji. Shortly after Bo Ji was born, her father died, and in the last year of the Qin Dynasty, the world was full of anti-Qin storms, and Wei Bao established himself as the King of Wei, and Wei Mi sent Bo Ji to the Wei Palace.

History, Volume 49, Foreign Relatives Xijiu:

and the princes of Pan Qin, Wei Baoli became the King of Wei, and Wei Mi's daughter was in the Wei Palace.

Later, the Wei king leopard was destroyed by the Han general Cao San, and Bo Ji became one of cao's trophies. After Cao Shan captured Bo Ji, he sent her to the weaving workshop in the palace and became a weaver girl. One day, Liu Bang inspected the weaving workshop, saw that Bo Ji was quite beautiful, and ordered it to be included in the harem. However, in the more than a year that Bo Ji came to the harem, she did not receive Liu Bang's imperial blessing.

When Bo Ji was young, she was a girlfriend with Lady Guan and Zhao Zi'er, and agreed that "those who are prominent and noble should not forget their companions and friends", and later, Lady Guan and Zhao Zi'er were successively favored by Liu Bang, but the two have not helped Bo Ji. In 203 BC, the Chu-Han struggle for hegemony had not yet come to an end, Liu Bang sat in the Chenggao Terrace of the Henan Palace, Lady Guan and Zhao Zi'er were accompanied by two beautiful people, they talked and laughed together about the meeting with Bo Ji that year, Liu Bang heard it, asked them what they were laughing about, and the two told Liu Bang the truth. Liu Bang heard that bo ji had pity on him and summoned bo ji on the same day. After Bo Ji saw Liu Bang, she said, "Last night I dreamed that there was a dragon coiled on my stomach. Liu Bang said, "This is an auspicious omen for the eminent nobility, and I have contributed to this good deed for you." This is the only time, the so-called "one luck to give birth to a man", Bo Ji was pregnant, and the next year she gave birth to her son Liu Heng, which happened to be Xiang Yu's self-murder and the establishment of the Han Dynasty. After Liu Heng was born, Bo Ji and Liu Bang rarely saw each other again, and the history books recorded that it was "Xi Jian", indicating that Liu Bang had no feelings for Bo Ji, or that Bo Ji was the concubine that Liu Bang least valued.

"History": The King of Han heard about it and asked him why, and the two of them told the King of Han the truth. The King of Han was miserable, and he pitied Bo Ji, who was fortunate to be summoned by the day. Bo Ji said, "Last night the concubine dreamed of the dragon according to my belly." Emperor Gao said, "This noble sign is also, I am a daughter to become a woman." "Ichiyuki gave birth to a man who is for the acting king." Later, Bo Jixi saw Gaozu.

From the above point of view, Bo Ji can be described as a life of opening up, seizing a small opportunity to give birth to a boy. Even more fortunately, Liu Bang did not feel anything for her, but instead let Bo Ji avoid the disaster of killing herself. In 195 BC, Liu Bang died, and Lü Yan began to take sole power, so he imprisoned Liu Bang's favored concubines and brutally killed most of them, the most typical of which was that Lady Qi was made into a "human figure". Since Bo Ji was not favored by Liu Bang, but instead received sympathy from Empress Lü, she was able to leave the palace and follow her son Liu Heng to the fiefdom and enjoy her old age in peace.

After Lü Hou's power was stable, Liu Bang's sons were in a very dangerous situation at that time, and they would be killed if they were not careful, but Liu Heng, the son of Bo Ji, remained safe and sound. In 180 BC, Lü Hou died, Zhou Bo and Chen Pingren eradicated the Lü family's power, and the courtiers said that the young emperor Liu Hong was not the son of Emperor Hui of Han and did not conform to the legal system of imperial succession, so they deposed and killed Liu Hong and his four brothers, and Zhou Bo and Chen Ping chose Liu Heng to inherit the throne, known in history as "Emperor Wen of Han".

After Liu Heng succeeded to the throne, he soon took control of the government and government, practiced frugality, exerted great efforts to govern, reformed politics, reduced taxes and servitude, and developed the economy. Liu Heng reigned for 23 years, living up to the expectations of the people, so that the Han Dynasty entered a period of strength, prosperity and stability, the people lived and worked in peace and contentment, and the country prospered and developed. Create a prosperous situation of "the rule of wenjing". If Liu Bang laid the foundation of Jiangshan, then it can be said that Liu Heng stabilized Jiangshan, and only after that did Emperor Jing of Han and Emperor Wu of Han wield pen and ink to exert their talents, Liu Heng was the emperor of the Western Han Dynasty, it can be said that he continued the century-old foundation of the Han Dynasty.
