The event lasted for two days, the professional group competition was very fierce, and the two days of competition finally appeared in the group sprint situation. In the 65-kilometer Lijin stage competition on the 23rd, Wang Qiang used the cover of his teammates to finally win the professional group championship with the advantage of 5 meters ahead of the sprint group. His teammate Kong Wensheng finished second, and Zhao Kang of Huansheng Sports Development Team was third in the stage.

In the 100-kilometer competition on the 24th, Huang Jing of Xiamen Yinbeis-Wheels took the lead in crossing the line, and Sun Wentao of Li Ningxing Intercontinental Team and Hou Dongyi of IGPSPORT-Leopard Bicycle Team won the second and third places in the stage.

In terms of personal total results, Wang Qiang ranked first with 3 hours, 40 minutes and 53 seconds with the first day stage champion. In terms of cumulative team results, the IGPSPORT-Leopard cycling team ranked first.

The competition attracted teams from various professional provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) from all over the country, teams from top amateur clubs in China and many amateur masters to gather in Dongying. At the same time as the professional group competition, the competition also set up the men's road elite group, the men's road master group, the women's road group and the men's and women's mountain group.
