According to the Liverpool Echo, Liverpool Club is close to signing 16-year-old winger Bobby Clarke from Newcastle.
Bobby Clark is already in Merseyside and the Reds hope to close the deal in the coming days. The England player has grown rapidly in Newcastle's youth system over the past 2 years and Liverpool hope to bring in talented players to support their development.
The newspaper said last month that although Bayern and Chelsea are also interested in Bobby Clarke, Liverpool have the upper hand in the deal. The terms of the transfer between the two sides have been negotiated, leaving only the final formalities.
