author:Wang Zi Xiaoyi

In the last years of the Western Han Dynasty, Wang Mang usurped power and became the emperor of the new dynasty. In order to consolidate his dominance, troops were sent everywhere to hunt down and kill the descendants of Liu Bang, the ancestor of Han Gao. On one occasion, Wang Mang's army pursued liu xiu to the northern part of the city of Guyi Prefecture (present-day Zaozhuang Yicheng District) under the Hujun Mountain (Altar Mountain). There were small jujube trees growing all over the mountain, and the jujube needles had been bent, and Liu Xiu and his gang panicked and did not choose the road, and when they climbed the north slope of the Hujun Mountain, the jujube needles hung up Liu Xiu's clothes, and Liu Xiu said in a hurry, why are the needles not all straight. After that, there was indeed a slip of jujube tree in the middle of the mountainside of The Guardian King's Mountain, and the needle was currently all straight, not a bend for the life. It was nearly dusk, and seeing that the pursuing soldiers were about to arrive, Liu Xiu and his gang hid in the temple in front of the mountain. After Liu Xiu entered the temple, the moths (spiders) spider immortals quickly spit silk and wrapped the temple gate into a thick web. The pursuing soldiers rushed to the temple, saw that the temple gate was full of spider webs, and thought that no one had entered the temple for many years, so they continued to chase south.

Liu Xiu and several guards hid in the temple for a night, and the next morning they knew that the pursuing soldiers were far away, so they felt thirsty and hungry, so they went down the mountain to The city of Yizhou, asked for some dry food and soup in front of a food stall with the surname, and after devouring their stomachs, they felt that the taste of the soup was particularly fragrant, and they were busy summoning the stall owner, Liu Xiu asked: What we drank just now. The stall owner heard the accent and knew that they were foreigners, so they briefed them on the ingredients and methods of the drink heads they sold (the local customary name for soup).

Later, Liu Xiu became the emperor of the Eastern Han Dynasty, and the stall owner surnamed Zhang listened to the people who sat in the palace in Yizhou say that Liu Xiu had drunk "drinking head" at his food stall on a certain day in a certain year, and asked him what he drank. In order to attract business, he called the soup he sold from now on "what soup". What, but it is a colloquial question from Liu Xiufeng's hometown in County, not referring to some kind of food. The stall owner wanted to dip Liu Xiu's light, so he asked Mr. Lai to write a plaque with the words "Eat It (sa) Soup" and hung it on the door of the store, and the business became more and more prosperous. The practice of eating it soup also spread throughout The Linyi and Jining areas of Lunan. The word "eat it" later evolved into the current word "糁".
