Yao Nian Peng's dedication to the soup made a contribution, so he sealed the land centered on Zaozhuang to Peng Zu and founded the Great Peng Kingdom. The allusion of "pheasant soup offering Yao" should be seven points true and three points attached. However, is there a basis for the legend that Zaozhuang is located in ancient Xuzhou? According to Mr. Wen Qingzhen, a scholar of Zaozhuang literature and history, "Xuzhou in the Book of Shang was the site of the ancient Xue kingdom in Guanqiao Town, Zaozhuang City in 339 BC. The book "Bamboo Book Chronicle" records: "In the thirty-first year of Liang Huicheng's reign, Xue changed to Xuzhou. This ancient Xuzhou centered on the State of Xue existed here for more than 560 years, and it was not until the Three Kingdoms period after 220 AD that the seat of Xuzhou was moved to Tongshan, first called Peng Guo, then Xuzhou to the present.
