Beijing, 9 Sep (Xinhua) -- A symposium to commemorate the 100 th anniversary of Comrade Yang Baibing's birth was held in Beijing on 9 September. Zhao Leji, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the Central Discipline Inspection Commission, attended the forum and met with the relatives of Comrade Yang Baibing before the meeting.

Comrade Yang Baibing served as director of the General Political Department of the People's Liberation Army, member of the Central Military Commission of the People's Republic of China, secretary general of the Central Military Commission of the Cpc Central Committee, secretary of the Secretariat of the 13th Central Committee, and member of the 14th Political Bureau of the Central Committee.
