Klinsmann Interview: If Levi asks me to help, England has a good chance at the European Championship

Live Bar May 26 News Recently, German star Klinsmann accepted an exclusive interview with Sky Sports. In the interview, Klinsmann talked about the current situation of Tottenham Hotspur – the team he played for for two seasons, saying he would consider returning to Tottenham if Levi contacted him – and Klinsmann has not worked in team management since leaving Hertha Berlin last February. He also offered his views on the future of Harry Kane and the European Cup.

Q: What do you think of the current situation at Tottenham?

A: Tottenham's performance this year has been like a roller coaster, we were hopeful at first but not as good as we ended up. Luckily we made it to the Europa League, so we still have the chance to win European-level honours at least next season. All in all, it has been a difficult one, and I personally hope that things can stabilize as soon as possible.

Q: If Tottenham contacted you for help, would you consider returning to Spurs?

A: There's no doubt I'll accept it. Levi had my phone number and he could call me at any time. Tottenham's place in my heart is special and I have always maintained a good connection with Tottenham. The experience of playing for Tottenham was unforgettable and I spent the best time of my life there.

Things are always changing in football. Before it happened, I never thought I would coach the National Team of Germany or the United States, so you have to have an open mind. I have to think about new challenges all the time, so why not to tosad Spurs?"

Q: Do you sympathize with Harry Kane and also with Tottenham's future?

A: I have great understanding and sympathy for both. Kane, in particular, has been leading the team forward as the team's banner for so many years and he has given too much for Tottenham. Now the entire player market is watching him, and if given the chance, other teams will not hesitate to throw heavy money to get him. I personally wish he could stay at Tottenham, but I can understand him too. I had this situation in 1995. I was very hungry for trophies and accolades, so I went to Bayern Munich and won the title I wanted there.

But if Kane leaves, then Tottenham are in big trouble, because maybe Sun Xingxu will say at the same time: "Okay, then I will leave too." "The most important thing for Tottenham right now is to sit down and discuss the status quo with Harry, discuss how he can continue his career at Tottenham and commit to a squad that will be fully reinforced next season to make the team more competitive. I think Spurs should do everything possible to keep Kane.

Q: What do you think about Tottenham's participation in the planned European Premier League?

A: Participation in the UEFA Super League has undoubtedly had a big negative impact on Tottenham. The twelve clubs involved have all caused a huge loss of trust and reputation among fans, coaches and players. Solving this problem is very difficult. You need to rebuild those trusts and connections, so there's definitely a lot of work to be done for the club.

Q: It's been fifteen years since you led Germany to the European Championship. Not long ago, Southgate just unveiled his squad for this year's European Championships, what do you think england have a chance of reaching the top of Europe?

A: I think England are at least in the top four in this European Championship. I was impressed by their performances in Russia and Southgate has a lot of demands on the team. But no matter what team, if you want to go all the way to the final and win the championship, it takes a certain amount of luck.

Q: Before that, we still have the Champions League final between Manchester City and Chelsea. What do you think will happen this time?

A: I think under Guardiola, Manchester City had a fantastic season. I think they're probably a little bit more popular than Chelsea, but it's not going to be an exciting final.
