In the 38th National Physics Competition for Secondary School Students, 16 students of our school won the first prize of the country, namely the senior three (9) class Bi Yuchen, Yan Zhihao, Gao Kaiyang, Ma Jin, Li Aoting, Chen Xinyi and Lan Binguang, the second (9) class Zhang Shuyuan, Suo Zihang, Xiong Qiuhao, Zhang Zijian, Jiang Fan, Zhou Yihui, Tong Sihan, Li Yingzhe, Xie Yunpu and Ai Sicheng under the guidance of head coach Zhang Zhan. The number of people who won the first prize of the national lottery in our school reached a record high.

Among them, 5 students, including Senior 3 (9) Ban Bi Yuchen, Yan Zhihao, Gao Kaiyang, Ma Jin, and Li Aoting, were selected as the representative team of Hubei Province with the results of the first, fifth, tenth, thirteenth and fourteenth places in Hubei Province, and will participate in the national finals (winter camp) of the National Physics Competition for Secondary School Students held in Nanjing in October this year.
