Scope of application:

Product Description:

The DAC30 is a new generation of cable oscillation wave partial discharge test products from Megger Germany (Seba plant in Germany), which consists of a high-voltage unit, a detection device, a control unit and related accessories. The control unit is a laptop, test software and analysis software integrated, all installed in the laptop. The high-voltage unit contains a high-voltage source, a resonant inductor, and a thyristor switch that generates the damped oscillation voltage required for testing. The pressurization test is carried out simultaneously with the automatic analysis of the local discharge, and the results are known after the test is completed. The system adopts power frequency curve technology to ensure test equivalence: voltage rise slope is an important influencing factor of the starting voltage of the local discharge, and the DAC oscillation wave voltage frequency is closer to the 50Hz power frequency, ensuring good equivalence of the test results and power frequency conditions. The "power-like curve technology" effectively controls the curve of the test voltage. The PD level detected under this technique, the PD start voltage, and the PD occurrence frequency and power frequency are directly comparable. Diagnostic tests are performed at frequencies close to the power frequency, and the maximum test voltage can be limited to 1.7Uo or less, reducing further damage to cables and accessories. The analysis and evaluation of typical PDs and the location of PD fault points can provide a reliable basis for the formulation of maintenance and repair plans, and improve the level of grid operation and management.
