As a key project of the structural adjustment of "oil head and tail" and one of the top 100 projects in Heilongjiang Province, the Daqing Refining and Chemical Production Paraffin Project has been put into operation, and new growth points such as improving product structure, increasing the proportion of value-added products, and improving enterprise efficiency have emerged. At present, the paraffin wax project has been put into operation for more than 200 days, and the increase in the production of high-quality paraffin wax products has exceeded 90,000 tons, and the average daily output has increased by about 450 tons.

Since the start of the paraffin wax project on November 12 last year, compared with the annual output of paraffin wax in 2019, the annual output of paraffin wax has increased by nearly 26,000 tons in 2020; compared with the same period last year, the output of paraffin wax has increased by more than 64,000 tons, which has become a new benefit growth point of Daqing Refining and Chemical, and has played an active role in promoting the high-quality development of enterprises and localities.
The total area of the paraffin wax increase project is 43,800 square meters, mainly including a new 600,000 tons/year ketobenzene de-oiling device, a 200,000 tons/year paraffin wax hydrogenation device and a 150,000 tons/year paraffin wax molding device, which began construction on October 30, 2019, successfully delivered on October 28, 2020, and successfully started on November 15, 2020. Under the background of high paraffin market demand, high pressure on epidemic prevention and control, high safety risks in winter device operation, and new problems faced by new devices, the processing capacity of the three main sets of paraffin wax projects has maintained steady growth, and the potential for optimizing management, improving quality and efficiency has been further released.
In order to effectively respond to the new situations and new problems that occur in the production process of the new device, Daqing Refining and Chemical has made efforts to make up for shortcomings, plug loopholes, and strengthen and weak items. Since the paraffin wax project started production, more than 1,000 problems in site management and safety production have been investigated and rectified, and the smooth operation rate of the two sets of ketobenzene dewaxing devices has been more than 99.99%, laying a good foundation for the increase in paraffin wax production.
Since 2021, the paraffin wax market is optimistic, Daqing Refinery has carried out product upgrade management oriented to user demand, as a high value-added product, it is urgent to increase paraffin production. Daqing Refining & Chemical Company takes effective measures to improve the wax yield of the ketone benzene dewaxing device, and actively coordinates the distillation range and viscosity of the raw material with the atmospheric pressure reduction device to ensure that the raw material is more suitable for the production and processing of the device and improve the yield. Adhere to the precise control of the operating parameters, effectively reduce the feed temperature of the filter, improve the solvent ratio, the vacuum degree of the vacuum closed system, and maintain a stable upward trend of wax yield.
At present, Daqing Refining and Chemical is further tapping the value potential of Daqing crude oil, providing more paraffin raw materials for downstream manufacturers, and promoting the development of the industrial chain of paraffin deep processing.
