Song Zhiqing was a contemporary of Du Fu's grandfather, so Du Fu honored him as the Duke of Song. The old pond hall refers to the building of Song Zhiqing's other industry in that year. Scattered, refers to the decline of the manor.

Shouyang, the name of the mountain, was in present-day Yanshi Township, Luoyang, Henan. Shouyang Mountain is a famous mountain in history, because when King Wu of Zhou marched against Yin Shang, two sons of the King of Guzhu, Boyi and Shuqi, stopped King Wu's warhorse and advised King Wu not to crusade against King Yin. After the fall of the Shang Dynasty, Bo Yi and Shu Qi lived in seclusion on this mountain, and they were ashamed to eat the grain of the Zhou Dynasty, but a woman said to them: "You are ashamed of not eating Zhou Su, but the grass on this mountain is also the grass of the Zhou Dynasty!" So the two were extremely ashamed and angry, and finally went on hunger strike and died. In this way, Boyi and Shuqi became famous people in history, and Shouyang Mountain became a famous mountain. The commemoration of these two people and this mountain expresses a spirit of upholding justice and not following the tide.

These two sentences mean that Du Fu came to the famous Shouyang Mountain, visited the old manor of Song Zhiqing's elders, and saw that the manor houses of that year were all old and scattered. This is the first to write about the scenery seen.

Sentence 34:

The way is only from the in, and the chanting is more.

Wrongdoing means bending, and bending is detouring. It means reverence. Permission is permission, which here means willingness. These two sentences are to say that a special detour to visit the old village of Song Gong, with respect into the manor, although it has been dilapidated and decayed, some people go to the feeling of empty buildings, but in the face of this village, there is still an infinite feeling in the heart, for this must chant poetry, but also want to visit nostalgia again in the future.

These two sentences are written about the mood and willingness to visit the old village, expressing the reverence for the poets of the previous generations, which contain the nostalgia of the friendship between this person and his grandfather.

Sentence 56:

Drowning asks the elderly, lonely to the mountains and rivers.

Drowning means lingering and not being able to leave. Elderly refers to the local elderly. The ancients called sixty-year-olds old and seventy-year-olds old. Therefore, the elderly refer to the elderly. Because Song Zhi asked him about his affairs, it had been two generations since Du Fu came to visit, so things were not people, and the various situations of that year could only be asked to the local old people.

After asking the old people, Du Fu's nostalgia for Song Gong and his grandfather was deeper and heavier, and they were no longer alive, so it was inevitable that future generations would feel lonely, and they could only face the mountains and rivers in front of them in the ruthless mountain wind, and they could not help but lament that life is not eternal, and the world is ruthless.

The first two sentences, purely writing scenes, and the third and fourth sentences, turn from narrative to feelings. The fifth and sixth sentences, which express deeper affection in the narrative, are the gradual deepening of the first four sentences.

Sentence 78:

More knowledge of the general tree, sad wind and twilight.

The general tree is an allusion, according to the "Later Han Shu Feng Yi Biography": whenever the army is stationed, the generals are sitting together to discuss the merits, only Feng Yi is often sitting alone under the tree, so the military is called "General dashu". In addition, Yu Xin of the Southern Dynasty Liang said in "The Southern Fu of the Wai River": "As soon as the general goes, the tree drifts to zero, the strong man does not return, and the cold wind is cold." "It is to further exert the allusion of General Dashu, expressing a kind of because the historical celebrities have passed away, and the related dashu and other things can only make future generations touch things and give birth to infinite nostalgia."

And in this poem, it is a further use of these allusions, which means that Song Zhiqing's younger brother Song Zhiwei, famous for Xiao Yong, was once a general of the Yulin Army, so the big tree in this village can also be called the general tree, and Song Zhiqing and his brother have passed away, leaving only these trees, making people touch the scene, facing many winds and objects here and now, can only let future generations feel the cold meaning of the sad wind at dusk, making people more nostalgic for the predecessors who have passed away, and also increasing the sadness of future generations to see this scene.

Zhao Feng, a scholar of the Yuan and Ming dynasties, said: Song Zhiqing and Du Fu's grandfather Du Zhenyan, as well as Chen Ziang and Shen Qi, were known as the "ancestors of Tang Law". When du Fu arrived, he developed the Tang Dynasty rhythmic poetry to a new realm, and after reading this poem, you can feel the development and evolution of the Tang Dynasty rhythmic poetry from the beginning of the early period to the heyday, which is for the poet Du Fu, the nostalgia for the predecessors in the poem, there is a deep meaning, not a Tang Dynasty poet, I am afraid it is difficult to understand. With this layer of deep meaning, the artistic conception of this poem rises to a new height, and it is not just a nostalgic poem.
