Li Cunxiao, the first and thirteenth taibao of the five generations of fierce generals (eighteen)

Li Cunxiao; real name: An Jingsi (858-894). A native of Feihu County, Dai Prefecture (present-day Lingqiu County, Shanxi Province), a fierce general of the late Tang Dynasty, was originally a Shatuo. Known as the "Flying Tiger General", in folklore, it is on a par with Xiang Yu, the king of Western Chu, and is called "General Li and Wang but Hegemon". Known as the brave first among the generals!

When Li Cunxiao was young, he was captured by Li Keyong in the rebel army and later adopted as an adopted son. He was brave and good at fighting, good at riding and shooting, and Li Ke used the commonly used generals to ride as a pioneer, and did not try to be defeated. Li Keyong had thirteen righteous sons, and Li Cunxiao ranked thirteenth, so he was also called the thirteenth Taibao. From Li Ke to rescue Chen Zhou and Xuzhou, he requisitioned Huang Chao and did not taste defeat. Later, due to the cracking of the car and death, Li Keyong felt deeply guilty of filial piety and was ashamed not to go to government for many days.

In the zhengshi records, Li Cunxiao is not conspicuous, and only records several battles of liao liao. But the fierce will be certain. The official history records that Li Cunxiao wore iron armor, held an iron horse whip, straddled his waist with a bow and arrow and a spear, and his entourage brought two horses, and did not change horses. Whenever he charged into battle, his bravery was unstoppable, and the enemy army was terrified when it heard of its reputation (Cun Xiao was ridden by a heavy armored bow whenever he faced a great enemy, and the servants rode with two horses, and the formation was easy to ride, as light as flying, dancing alone on iron rafters, standing up for the battle, and the ten thousand people were easy; the courage of filial piety was enough to crown the three armies and grow ten thousand men). In the wild history legend, Li Cunxiao is even more invincible.

In the wild history legend, Li Cunxiao's weapon is very strange, called "Bi Yanlao", in order to save his father, he can kill the tiger with his bare hands at the age of ten; in a few rounds, he defeated the second iron gun Wang Yanzhang of the world at that time; less than ten rounds of fighting with illness, he killed Gao Siji, the first shot of the Five Generations and Ten Kingdoms, when this person was known as the third in the world. More gods say that he is like a god under the heavens, taking eight villages in the day, robbing three levels at night, and riding eighteen to take Chang'an. In fact, these theories all come from the tang dynasty, and the history details that Li Cunxiao's battles were only twice, one was to ambush a civilian official. There is only one enemy that is facing the enemy, and that is the Battle of Zezhou.

In 890, Li Ke used the Luzhou garrison to rebel and kill Luzhou Jiedu to make Li Kegong return to Tang, at this time the Tang Dynasty was already under Zhu Wen's control, and Zhu Wen sent Li Huan to attack Li Hanzhi in Zezhou, and Li Cunxiao saved him with 5,000 cavalry. Liang Jun said to Han Zhi: "Gong Chang thought taiyuan was destined, now that the party has returned to Tang, Tang soldiers have gathered, surrounded Taiyuan, Sha Tuo will have no cave to live with himself, and who will be ashamed of himself and will not surrender?" When Li Cunxiao heard this, he shouted with a fine horse riding five hundred around the Liang army camp: "I, the seeker of Shatuo, wait for your flesh to eat the army, so that the fat point can fight!" Liang Xiao led Deng Jijun into battle, Cun Xiao slapped the horse dance mallet, and captured him in the battle line, Li Chen was defeated and chased to Ma Prison Pass.

Li Cunxiao was outstanding in battle and loyal to Li Keyong. Although Li Keyong treats him like a son, even if the father and son will have contradictions, not to mention the righteous father and the righteous son, Li Cunxiao's side, believes that he has worked hard and should get better treatment, while Li Keyong often ignores his feelings, coupled with the contradiction between Li Cunxiao and Li Cunxin, Li Cunxiao gradually has the idea of betraying Li Keyong.

In the first year of Jingfu (892), after being falsely accused by Li Cunxin of having two hearts, Li Cunxiao broke the jar and broke it, and while contacting Zhu Wen and other forces, he expressed his willingness to submit to the Tang court.

Soon, Emperor Zhaozong of Tang ordered Li Cunxiao to be the envoy of Xingzhou, Huanzhou, and Cizhou, and sent Wang Rong to assist. In the second year of Jingfu (893), because Li Cunxiao met Wang Rong and was known to Li Keyong, the two sides completely broke up.

Wang Rong, who was originally an ally of Li Cunxiao, chose to submit to Li Keyong because he was afraid of Li Keyong's military posture, and expressed his willingness to fight Li Cunxiao together. At this time, Li Cunxiao became a lonely man, and his momentum was naturally difficult to last.

Li Ke personally recruited Li Cunxiao and besieged Li Cunxiao for several months, seeing that the city was about to run out of food. In the first year of Qianning (894), Li Cunxiao ascended the city tower, wept bitterly and repented, asking for Li Keyong's forgiveness, and Li Keyong, who still had compassion in his heart, immediately sent his wife Liu Shi to pick up Li Cunxiao and return to the camp.

In front of Li Keyong, Li Cunxiao insisted that it was because of Li Cunxin's rumors that he put the blame on him.

However, Li Cunxin was not an idle person, and he was known for his wisdom and scheming, and he received a letter from Li Cunxiao to Zhu Wen and others expressing his desire to cooperate, which was full of complaints about Li Keyong. Li Ke was furious with the reading and immediately announced that he would be sent back to Taiyuan for execution.

In fact, Li Keyong did not really want to kill Li Cunxiao, but at that time, the ministers did not intercede because of their bad relationship with Li Cunxiao, and Li Keyong had no steps to go down, so he had to kill him with the punishment of car splitting.

Li Cunxiao, the first and thirteenth taibao of the five generations of fierce generals (eighteen)

Li Cunxiao was brave and fierce, and his battle achievements were numerous, and he was inevitably suspected in the chaotic world, and in the end, Li Cunxiao was not rewarded with corresponding rewards because he felt that he had merit, and he was not angry in his heart, and he was framed and plotted against Li Cunxin, who was also Li Keyong's righteous son, and finally killed by Li Keyong, which was sad and lamentable.
