After resigning and returning home, Thorn Shi recommended Lei Yi as Mao cai. Lei Yi wanted to give up his name to Chen Zhong again. Thorn Shi disagreed, and Lei Yi pretended to be crazy and refused to accept it.

Later, in the civil unrest in Qi, Bao Shuya fled to juguo with prince XiaoBai, and Guan Zhong fled to lu with the prince. Xiao Bai eventually became the king of the State of Qi, but Bao Shuya recommended Guan Zhong to be the prime minister, and his position was even higher than his own.
