Wang Wenxiong, who was lying on the hospital bed, never forgot to arrange the help and support work, and did not think that this simple advice to the village cadres who came to visit him became his last words.
On the afternoon of January 5, 2018, when Wang Wenxiong and his colleagues reviewed the poverty alleviation manual and files at the office of the Sihe Village Committee of Zhongping Town, Qiongzhong Li and Miao Autonomous County, due to overwork and sudden illness, after ineffective rescue, the life clock was forever fixed at 13:03 on January 6, 2018, at the age of 56.

Since entering the Sihe Village Committee, Wang Wenxiong, a cadre of the Qiongzhong County Poverty Alleviation Office, has mobilized, guided, and promoted poor households to establish a firm belief that "I want to get rid of poverty", and through the help of units and personal efforts, solve the problem of "two worries and three guarantees" for poor households, demolish dilapidated tile houses and dangerous houses, and build a new home in "Fumei Village". Up to now, the transformation of dangerous houses in the village has been completed 61 households, basically solving the problem of housing safety for the masses.

"Silly Dad" in the Eyes of His Family
"Dad, I said that I would go to Fujian to help me with my children after retirement, so why did you leave?" At 13:00 on January 6, 2018, his daughter Wang Zhenyun, who came all the way from Fujian, did not have time to put down her bag and knelt in front of her father's hospital bed. No matter how his children tore their hearts and lungs, with guilt for their families, Wang Wenxiong still closed his eyes forever.
Wang Wenxiong's son, Wang Zhenfu, still remembers that since his father joined the work in 1982, he has worked in Shang'an Township, Diaoluoshan Township, Hongmao Town and other places, and he and his sister often rarely see their father once a week. "On the contrary, the villagers have something to look for him, and even later he will go out to solve it."
In 2014, Qiongzhong started the "four leagues, three questions, joint village help" precision poverty alleviation work, Wang Wenxiong took the initiative to ask to help the village in the village, but considering the long distance, the mountain road is difficult to walk, and he is older and does not know how to drive, the unit declined. In 2016, Wang Wenxiong once again took the initiative to ask for help in the village, and this time he finally "got his wish".
"Don't think that it is a beautiful errand to stay in the village, the accommodation and office are in the small room on the roof of the village committee office building, and then build a shed as a kitchen." In Wang Zhenfu's view, this father who is obsessed with the cause of poverty alleviation is really "a bit stupid." In fact, according to the working years, Wang Wenxiong has long reached the standard of early retirement, and his sons and daughters working in Fujian have repeatedly urged him to go through the early retirement procedures, but he is not at ease with the poor households in the village.
In September and December 2017, Wang Wenxiong was hospitalized twice in a row, and when asked by colleagues, he only said that he was a stomach disease, a cold, and even if he had vomited blood, he still called himself an acute gastric bleeding, and it was good to recuperate. At the time of his death, Wang Wenxiong still had the manual of the poor households on his pillow, and what he remembered in his heart was also his poor households...
The "desperate sanlang" in the eyes of colleagues
"He cares more about his colleagues for the masses than he cares about his loved ones and children." Referring to Wang Wenxiong, his former old colleague Cai Qingping, a cadre of Hongmao Town, commented.
At 6:30 a.m. on January 4, 2018, everything was as tense and busy as usual but well organized. After hurriedly eating breakfast, Wang Wenxiong quickly sat down at his desk, and in a short while he checked some of the poverty alleviation manuals and poor household files in Sihe Village. After confirming that there is no error, the materials are carefully classified and archived.
According to colleague Huang Zaiwei' recollection, after Wang Wenxiong sorted out and archived the files of poor households in his hand, he went to the village with him in the morning to mobilize the poor households that had installed doors and windows to move into the new home as soon as possible. At noon, together with other poverty alleviation cadres, they distributed poverty alleviation condolence materials to poor households and visited villages, and they were busy until more than five o'clock in the afternoon.
Huang Zaiwei still remembers that the next day he saw Wang Wenxiong's face was pale, and beads of sweat kept flowing down his face, but he insisted on reviewing the information filled in by his colleagues. After repeatedly persuading Wang Wenxiong to rest for a while, Huang Zaiwei dialed Wu Kunjun, director of the county poverty alleviation office. At the strong request of Wu Kunjun, Wang Wenxiong was "escorted" to the county people's hospital by everyone that afternoon, and he did not expect that this trip would be a farewell.
"Wang Wenxiong said that he has experience in township work, knows a lot about grassroots work, is good at doing mass work, and is very suitable for going to the village." Xu Huanyi, deputy director of the Qiongzhong County Poverty Alleviation Office, recalled that in 2016, the contact point of the Qiongzhong County Poverty Alleviation Office was changed to the Sihe Village Committee of Zhongping Town, and Wang Wenxiong, as in previous years, once again took the initiative to invite Miao to Sihe Village to carry out the work of helping the village.
In this way, a straw mat and a quilt, Wang Wenxiong settled down in Sihe Village.
"At the beginning of 2016, there were 122 poor households in 12 natural villages of the Sihe Village Committee, and the task of poverty alleviation was heavy, Wang Wenxiong never felt tired and tired, from the first day of entering Sihe Village, he learned in detail about the situation of Sihe Village and poor households, and actively planned poverty alleviation measures with county, town and village cadres to help poor people solve practical problems." Cheng Chaohui, deputy secretary of the party branch of Sihe Village, said that after two years of hard work, there are only 32 poor households left in Sihe Village.
The "confidant" in the eyes of the villagers
"The bucket of cooking oil he gave me is still in my living room, and every time I see it, it feels like it was yesterday." Hu Liangqiong, a poor household, recalled with tears that on the day Wang Wenxiong fell ill, he accompanied him to the county people's hospital in a 120 ambulance for rescue, but he did not expect to be left alone when he returned.
Hu Liangqiong is a member of the Wentang Village Group of the Sihe Village Committee, and used to love to drink a little wine, and after drinking wine, he would go crazy in the village. In order to get rid of Hu Liangqiong's bad problems, Wang Wenxiong guided him to develop his industry according to the actual situation of his family, and changed the wine that had been three meals a day to two meals a day and one meal. "Now as long as I go out to do farm work and pick betel nuts, I can even go two or three days without drinking."
In order to combine Fuzhi with Fuzhi, Wang Wenxiong organized poor households to watch TV night schools for poverty alleviation and prosperity on time every week, and after watching TV night schools, he also organized them to actively discuss and seek development ideas. As long as there is leisure time, Wang Wenxiong will talk to the poor households, ask about the family situation of each family, and for a long time, he knows exactly who has a few people, what industry is suitable for the development of the land, and whether the children's education subsidies are received in a timely manner.
According to the actual situation of poor households, Wang Wenxiong and his colleagues worked together to formulate the help plan of Sihe Village, classifying 439 people from 122 poor households according to four categories, such as industrial assistance, village-level public service positions, transfer employment and social support, and determining a detailed poverty alleviation plan. At the same time, combined with the county's four industrial poverty alleviation models, we will strive for project funds of 350,000 yuan to lead poor households to get rid of poverty and become rich through the development of existing industries, the transfer of employment, and the development of groups. Nowadays, all poor households in the village have invested in professional cooperatives, and can get up to 1300 yuan in dividends, dangerous houses have been comprehensively renovated, and the Construction Project of Fumei Village is also in full swing...
"In order to find out our practical difficulties and problems, the threshold of the family has been 'rotten' by him." Even after being sent to the hospital, he also remembered the housing problems of Li Guangjin, an old man in the village, and the distribution of education subsidies for Li Xingnan's children. Song Depeng, a poor household, said bluntly that Wang Wenxiong treated them like relatives, and now they will always remember Wang Wenxiong.
