In this list, 10 people from Zhejiang are on the list, ranking first. Anhui ranked second with 7 people, followed by Jiangsu, with 6 people on the list.

The schools with a large number of junior classes include: 4 students from Suzhou Middle School in Jiangsu Province, 4 students from Wenzhou Middle School in Zhejiang Province, 3 students from the First Affiliated Middle School of Central China Normal University, 2 students from Hefei No. 1 Middle School, and 2 students from Northeast Yucai School.

According to the 2021 Junior Class Enrollment Regulations of the University of Science and Technology of China, the enrollment targets of the 2021 Junior Class must meet the following requirements: students born on or after January 1, 2005, and students under the second year of high school (inclusive).

Chen Luoxin, from Suzhou Si County No. 1 Middle School, born in 2007, scored 679 points in the college entrance examination this year, ranking more than 280 science students in Anhui Province among the 230,000 science college entrance examination candidates.
