It is said that someone once combined the upper body of the seated Buddha and the lower body of the standing Buddha to enlarge it by 5 times simultaneously, and the resulting image was exactly the same as the structure of the Leshan Giant Buddha. Because the stone and surrounding environment of the Qishan Double Buddha are very close to the Leshan Giant Buddha, and the carving age is also very close (the Double Buddha was built more than 60 years earlier than the Leshan Giant Buddha), some experts believe that the architectural blueprint of the Leshan Giant Buddha is the Pengzu Mountain Qishan Double Buddha.
