On October 24th, the "Exploring the Ancient Shu Civilization dreaming of the Ancient City of Ancient Country" jointly organized by Deyang Youth Palace, Chengdu Youth Palace, Guanghan Sanxingdui Museum and Jinsha Site Museum - From Sanxingdui to Jinsha Ruins Ancient Shu Civilization Discovery Tour The first phase of the youth science research and research activities in Chengde and Germany was successfully carried out, and more than 160 people from 80 groups of families in Chengde and Germany participated in this activity.
At the Sanxingdui Museum, children follow in the footsteps of the docents and travel together in the ancient Shu culture. The docent sorted out the ancient Shu era and the connection between the Sanxingdui civilization and the Central Plains civilization for the children, and learned about the sacred faith, magical art and mysterious history of the Sanxingdui civilization in the pottery, bronze, gold, jade, ivory, sea shell and other cultural relics. Combined with the Shang Zhou bronzes, the docent took the children to understand the unique bronze masks, bird-shaped instruments and eye-shaped instruments of Sanxingdui, and deeply analyzed the characteristics of Sanxingdui bronzes from the bird-shaped ornaments. The treasures of the town hall such as the golden staff, the bronze statue of Da Li, and the bronze No. 1 sacred tree made the children feast their eyes, and until they left, the children still read the names and stories of these cultural relics and lingered.
The simulated archaeological experience brought the whole event to a climax. In accordance with the professional archaeological excavation process and norms, the professional teachers divided the children into groups of 8 people, divided labor and cooperation, meticulously explored the "treasure" in the simulated archaeological site, and excavated the highly simulated tiles buried below by sweeping away the sand on the surface little by little, and carefully picked them up and handed them over to their peers for preservation, analysis and record. In unity and cooperation, the children realized the hard work of the scientific expedition personnel and the charm and fun of archaeology.
