Yueyang Daily All-Media News (reporter Chen Siwei) The breeze is refreshing, and the fragrance of dangui is wafting. September 30 is the eighth Revolutionary Martyrs' Day in China. On the morning of the same day, a long-form reportage donation ceremony based on "People's Hero" Zhang Chao was held at Yueyang City No. 7 Middle School, the alma mater of martyr Zhang Chao, and responsible persons of the Propaganda Department of the Municipal CPC Committee, Yueyang Military Subdistrict, Hunan Education Publishing House, Yueyang Municipal Federation of Literature and Literature, and Zhang Shenghua, the father of martyr Zhang Chao, attended the ceremony.

It is reported that "Chasing Dreams in the Sea and Sky - Remembering the People's Hero Zhang Chao" has a total of 165,000 words, through vividly recounting Zhang Chao's life from primary school, junior high school, high school to military camp, reproducing his growth experience and mental journey, comprehensively reflecting Zhang Chao's establishment of correct life ideals from an early age, and struggling and realizing his dreams in suffering. After joining the barracks, he loved the motherland, loved the people, sacrificed his life and forgot his death, forged ahead, and used his young life to interpret the lifelong pursuit of dedicating himself to the cause of aircraft carrier-based aircraft, and infected and warmed everyone around him with noble conduct.

The author of the book, Liu Zihua, is currently the deputy secretary and vice chairman of the party group of the Yueyang Municipal Federation of Literature and Literature, and a member of the China Writers Association. Since December 2018, I have been working on interviews. With the approval of the relevant departments of the Naval Political Work Department, Liu Zihua went deep into the carrier-based aircraft base to conduct interviews, interviewed many leaders and comrades-in-arms before Zhang Chao's death, and obtained many precious first-hand information. The author also interviewed Zhang Chao's teachers, classmates, neighbors and relatives nearly 100 times, and zhang Chao's father, Zhang Shenghua, was interviewed nearly 30 times.

In early September 2019, Liu Zihua sent the revised manuscript to a carrier-based aircraft base of Zhang Chao's unit for review. After nearly two months of review, he received a revised draft from the carrier-based aircraft base. On the manuscript, there are suggestions for the revision of three kinds of handwriting: blue ink pen, ballpoint pen, and pencil, and the officers and men of the base read and examined it very carefully and carefully. After Liu Zihua finalized the draft according to the revision opinions, it was sent to hunan education publishing house for editing and publication. The publishing house attaches great importance to it, and in the spirit of being responsible for history and admiring heroes, it has set up a special editorial team. It took 8 months for the troops to review the draft three times, and 7 months for the third review by the Hunan Education Publishing House. From interview creation to publication, it took 3 years before and after, which can be described as 3 years of grinding a book. At the donation ceremony, the staff of Hunan Education Publishing House delivered books to teachers and students, and hoped that through this book, teachers and students would be given the spiritual wealth of selfless dedication and sacrifice for the country and the people, to illuminate life. Chen Qi, a representative of the seventh middle school in Yueyang City, said: "Zhang Chao is an example for the students of the seventh middle school to learn, he is our pride, and each of us students can only realize the value of life if they establish lofty ideals from an early age and strive to pursue their own ideals through the light of heroes." ”
