Synopsis
Late one thunderstorm late autumn night, the vampire warrior Selene is hunting down werewolves when she inadvertently learns from a captive that the werewolves are preparing to kidnap human doctor Michael. Sensing the plot being planned by the Werewolves, Selene decides to investigate alone, not wanting to be seriously injured by the Werewolves, but fortunately she is rescued by Michael. Selene takes Michael into vampire territory, but Michael is bitten by a vampire, at which point Michael's mysterious identity is revealed, and it turns out that Michael has half werewolf blood and the other half belongs to vampires. This puts him in a difficult situation where he has nowhere to go, but it is precisely this mixed bloodline that gives Michael a mysterious power. His fellow werewolves learned of this secret and chased him furiously, wanting to eat his blood for great power. Selene sympathizes with Michael's plight and wants to help the handsome savior, and magical love sprouts in them. However, the two feuding families behind them did not eliminate the centuries of hatred because of the love of the two young people. Preparations have been made for the vampires' annihilation of the werewolves, and the werewolves are well prepared for their own revenge.
Movie review editor
The script of "Legend of the Night" is not special or new, Hollywood filmmakers have interpreted the storyline of Shakespeare's famous book "Romeo and Juliet" by re-injecting modern film industry elements and fantasy legends, with the intention of continuing Shakespeare's poignant classic love story. The film's fully commercial operation is full of scenes of hatred and killing from beginning to end, and it seems to wash away Shakespeare's love story, and it is difficult to capture the romanticism and rebellious ideas of Shakespeare's writings just by relying on a few affectionate dialogues and confused eyes of the vampires and werewolves in the film. Kate Beckinsale's successful portrayal of the cold and beautiful vampire warrior Selene with her excellent figure and extraordinary skills in the film has become the biggest highlight of the film.
