A sudden subsidence produced a bottomless pit, and at the bottom of the pit was a crack that resembled an aurora, and countless people who could not prevent falling into the pit eventually fell into this aurora crack...

This is a science fiction work that I found when I was looking for new dramas under the recent drama famine, and I have only updated an episode at present, but after watching it, I feel the need to recommend it to everyone -
"La Brea"!
To be precise, when I first saw this American drama, I was attracted by the plot setting, because I had seen too many similar novel settings earlier:
The city suddenly appeared in a large pit, countless people fell into it, and in this pit bottom world, the male protagonist and others began various evolutionary paths, fighting against alien races and beasts...
Cough ~ Of course, for the plot setting of "La Brea" naturally will not be this routine, it is actually taking another completely different "escape" route, and it is this setting that attracted me to decide to chase it!
In simple terms:
At the beginning of the episode, similar to the novel routine I said earlier, a deep pit suddenly appeared in the city, and at the bottom of the pit there was a "crack" that resembled an aurora, and in the episode, the depth of the pit alone was 20,000 feet, which did not count the aurora crack.
And our main story line revolves around the male and female protagonists!
At the beginning of the episode, the original heroine brought her daughter and son, as a result, because of the appearance of the deep pit, the heroine's son fell into it, the heroine in order to save her son eventually fell into it, leaving a short-legged daughter alone, of course, this setting is not a plot for no reason, on the contrary, leaving the daughter is actually for the appearance of the heroine's husband in the later text, of course, this is the last word, we put it later, first of all, let's talk about the heroine and other people after falling into the pit.
It's different from what you think—
Falling into a deep pit - after passing through the aurora crack, almost everyone except a few unlucky eggs are safe and sound, falling from such a high altitude without even a bruise, while the heroine wakes up after a bout of vertigo, but accidentally drops her wedding ring necklace hanging around her neck after waking up.
Again, this is also a prelude setting, we will put it later.
When the heroine found her son and a group of melon-eating masses who also fell down in a daze in the face of this pit bottom world, the crisis began to gradually appear-
In the forest of the pit world, a group of giant wolves far beyond the modern magnitude suddenly appeared, similarly, for some unlucky eggs, the only role here is to become the lunch of the giant wolf, and the heroine's son was also thrown down by one of the giant wolves during this period, fortunately, at the critical moment, someone in the crowd carried a pistol and directly solved the crisis with one shot.
But the heroine's son was injured in the abdomen at this time, and continued to antibiotics, and the heroine could only go to find an ambulance that fell into the pit together, and the plot began from here, gradually mysterious:
First of all, the male protagonist, that is, the husband of the female protagonist, has been receiving re-flight treatment because of a flight accident, the reason is that the male protagonist has been intentionally or unintentionally "seeing" a wilderness scene, originally everyone including the male protagonist thought that this was some kind of sequelae.
But with the appearance of the deep pit, something wrong appeared, the male protagonist suddenly appeared in the illusion in his mind this time, and the male protagonist can also clearly "see", before the military sent to detect the aurora crack after the missing drone.
Although the male protagonist tried to explain this situation to the military, it was obvious that the group of people investigating did not care, so the male protagonist could only choose to go it alone, because in a recent illusion that appeared in his mind, the male protagonist saw a stone with palm prints.
The key is that the male protagonist of this stone seems to be déjà vu~
To this end, when the male protagonist returned home frantically looking for photos that once remembered the record of this stone, the daughter left behind mistakenly thought that the male protagonist was "stimulated" and did not understand the father, and could only let the father himself "fool" so "fooled" it, but fortunately, in the end, the male protagonist still found the stone that had been photographed with the female protagonist!
At this point, the 2 plot routes began to overlap, and the general framework of the whole event began to appear-
Remember what we said earlier about "the ring necklace that the heroine accidentally dropped when she fell into the crack of the aurora"? The male protagonist found the land in front of the stone that had been photographed in the illusion, constantly digging, and when the daughter came to feel that the father wanted to "dig to where the mother" was a bit absurd, the male protagonist dug out the ring necklace that the female protagonist dropped in the ground!
meanwhile!
The heroine, who was looking for antibiotics for her son in the underground space, was surprised to find that the "Hollywood Hill" logo printed on the ambulance body was almost exactly the same as the mountain she saw in front of her.
Even more embarrassing:
Just when the heroine and others were confused, a "saber-toothed tiger" came out of the jungle next to them, good guys, the plot background of the whole story is roughly clear, the heroine and others actually went through the aurora crack to Los Angeles 20,000 years ago!
This also explains why the stone seen in the male protagonist's illusion is very familiar, and he can even dig up the missing ring necklace of the female protagonist under the stone.
Of course, the story is only the beginning here, why does the male protagonist see the scene 20,000 years ago in the whole plot? What kind of crisis will the heroine encounter in underground time and space? Who is the mysterious old man who appears at the end of the first episode who is clearly not a primitive human?
The first episode did not dig many pits, but there were not many ~
If you're interested, check out La Brea, which is currently updated every Wednesday for a total of 5 episodes.
