Tianjin, August 29 (Xinhua) -- In late summer and early autumn, walking into the "fishing and light integration" base in Yangjiapo Town, Binhai New Area, Tianjin, the photovoltaic panels on the water surface are very conspicuous under the afternoon sun, standing at a high place and looking down, the neat photovoltaic panels are "embedded" above the breeding pond, and the fish and shrimp under the photovoltaic panels are growing leisurely.
Yangjiabo Town organically combines modern fishery aquaculture with photovoltaic power generation, vigorously develops fishery-light complementary photovoltaic power generation projects, and adopts the mode of "water power generation and underwater aquaculture" to develop and build photovoltaic power stations to achieve the complementary development of "fishery + photovoltaic" multi-industry. Through the advantages of natural cooling of photovoltaic panels in the summer high temperature, while ensuring high-quality seedlings, feed, supply, the introduction of advanced breeding technology, effectively reduce the risk of breeding, farmers can increase the breeding income by 20%-50%. At present, all photovoltaic power generation has been connected to the grid and put into commercial operation, with a cumulative power generation capacity of 319 million kWh and a reduction of about 386,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. At the same time, 76 wind turbines have also been installed in Yangjiapo Town, which is expected to generate 350 million kWh of electricity per year and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 331,900 tons per year, helping to achieve the goal of "double carbon".
