In order to celebrate the centenary of the founding of the party and extensively carry out party history education, under the guidance of the Propaganda Department of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and other departments, the Shanghai Film Bureau and the Propaganda Department of the Hongkou District Party Committee jointly held the "Initial Intention in Red Light and Shadow" - the Left Union Film Theme Film Festival. The theme film festival is also one of the important contents of the city's "Into Glory: Theme Film Festival for the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China".
According to reports, the film festival selected 8 films such as "Children of the Wind and Clouds", "Fishing Light Song", "Dalu", "Road Angel", "Cross Street", "Peach and Plum Robbery" created and directed by left league members Tian Han, Xia Yan, Xu Xingzhi, Shen Xiling, Ying Yunwei and other members, showing the changes in Chinese society and the times in three dimensions.
During the film festival, the organizers will also organize live "concert" activities, and a series of film criticism activities will also be carried out one after another, inviting experts and scholars such as Huang Changyong, president of the Shanghai Theater Academy, Zhu Feng, president of the Shanghai Film Critics Association, and other experts and scholars, as well as tian Han's grandson Ouyang Wei, Zheng Junli's son Zheng Dali and other descendants of left alliance members, as well as Zhao Dan's son Zhao Mao, Zhou Xuan's son Zhou Wei and other descendants of old filmmakers to conduct film appreciation, dialogue, theme forums, etc.
