Beijing, July 20 (Xinhua) -- The 2018 CBSA (China Billiards Association) "Star Card Kangxi Shengshi" Chinese Billiards China Open ended in Beijing on the 20th, Chu Bingjie beat Zhao Ruliang 13:6 in the men's final, and Chen Siming won 7 consecutive games in the women's group match.

Chu Bingjie, who defeated himself 21:19 in the final of the Yushan Chinese Billiards World Championships in the first round of the China Open, staged a reversal in the face of a backward start. Interestingly, Chu Bingjie's opponent in the final, Zhao Ruliang, was a player coached by Yang Fan. After the start of the match, the two first fought to a 4-4 draw, but Chu Bingjie gradually established a lead and finally won the opponent 13:6.

The women's match was a 21-game, 11-win format, with youngster Shi Tianqi playing against Chen Siming, who ranked first in CBSA Chinese billiards. Shi Tianqi maintained a slim lead after the start of the match, but she failed to clear the stage to give Chen Siming a chance in the tenth set, who took over the game to win seven consecutive sets to win 11:5.

Chen Siming said after the game that his participation in this competition is mainly to accumulate experience in Chinese billiards and prepare for next year's Chinese billiards World Championships. For Shi Tianqi, who is already a regular in the final of the ranking tournament but has not yet been "sealed", she believes that "Kiki's ball is very good, maybe the mentality is a little anxious", and sent hugs to encourage the younger generations after the game.

The Open attracted more than 200 players, with young players performing particularly well, with a total prize money of 385,000 yuan. After the match, there will also be a major tournament of Chinese billiards such as the crown and the super match.
