You Chenghao, a taiwanese youth who graduated from China Agricultural University with a doctorate, served as the vice president of the animal hospital called "Naughty Family Animal Deep Medical Center", and together with The medical team of Professor Ye Lisen, the founder of the Institute of Clinical Veterinary Medicine of National Taiwan University, as a consultant, together with the medical team of small animals to provide in-depth medical services for various difficult and complicated diseases. It has been in operation for more than a month and has performed dozens of various surgeries.

According to public statistics, in recent years, the size of the Chinese mainland pet consumer market has grown at a rate of 15 to 20 percentage points per year, and it is expected to exceed 200 billion yuan in 2020. In addition to the increase in the number of pets, the concept of feeding is also improving, and the demand for high-end pet services is growing. In 2018, nearly 100 million pet families Chinese mainland, spending an average of nearly 4,000 yuan on a single cat and dog.

The first joint venture pet company in Shanghai was founded by You Chenghao's mother, Jiang Bixiu, in 1993 with her Shanghai cousin. At that time, she sent her cousin a pet dog, found that the local pet service industry in Shanghai was very lacking, simply invested in the establishment of pet grooming shops, and then set up a pet hospital, invited pet groomers and veterinarians from Taiwan, and brought the service concept into Shanghai. That was the beginning of the mainland pet industry.

In 2015, Naughty Family Animal Hospital was ranked at the top of the annual "China 100 Pet Hospitals", second only to the College of Veterinary Medicine of China Agricultural University. With the development of the mainland pet industry for more than 20 years, the naughty family has gradually become the benchmark in the industry with its service concept and medical technology.

Inheriting his mother's love for small animals, You Chenghao graduated from the Department of Life Sciences at Chung Hsing University in Taiwan and went to China Agricultural University to pursue master's and doctoral degrees. After studying and living in Beijing for 9 years, he has witnessed the changes brought by economic development to veterinary medical research: more and more world-class experts are willing to go to the mainland to exchange and teach; in foreign countries, Chinese veterinary medicine used to be an "alternative discipline", and now it is listed by many animal hospitals as a formal discipline with equal emphasis on internal surgery.

"I love the atmosphere of Beijing." You Chenghao told the visiting China News Agency reporter that people here are frank and sincere, and students are working hard to improve their studies, unity with each other, and strong cohesion. From this, he germinated a bigger dream and persuaded his mother to expand her career to Beijing.

Looking back on the process of setting up a hospital in Beijing, You Chenghao repeatedly mentioned the support of government departments for Taiwan-funded enterprises and the open attitude of industry associations, "Beijing welcomes us with open arms and encourages the introduction of healthy competition. I love this environment where positive energy is gathered and practical things are done down-to-earth. ”

"Out of consideration for development prospects, Taiwan veterinarians are very willing to come to the mainland to develop." You Chenghao recalled that in 2009, the Veterinary Hospital of Zhongxing University and the College of Veterinary Medicine of China Agricultural University formed a sister hospital, and the next year, the admission score line of the Department of Veterinary Medicine of Zhongxing University exceeded that of the Department of Veterinary Medicine of National Taiwan University. "Parents of students are very sensitive to this information, believing that cooperation between faculties and the mainland can provide more choices for their children's future development."

In February 2018, the mainland issued the "31 Measures" to benefit Taiwan compatriots, published the national vocational qualification examination directory open to Taiwan residents, and Travel Cheng Hao applied for veterinary qualifications for the first time. He said that in the past, the salary of veterinarians in Taiwan was affected by the lack of qualification certificates. "Obtaining professional qualifications makes it safer and more secure for Taiwanese veterinarians to work in the mainland." Especially for young people, career planning has a broader choice. ”

This animal in-depth medical center is currently the largest animal hospital in Beijing and has become a teaching and practice base for graduate students of the College of Veterinary Medicine of China Agricultural University.

In the blueprint of You Chenghao, it is not only necessary to provide an environment for veterinarians to improve their technology, but also to build an international teaching hospital integrating education and scientific research, establish a cross-strait and international exchange platform, and promote the integration of veterinarian technology on both sides of the strait with international standards.

And all this is for the original intention of "providing good service to pets and owners". "Veterinarians should be people who really love animals," he says, "and loving animals is the best way to say about veterinarians." (End)
