This passage is from Taiwanese writer Bai Xianyong's "Evil Son", a long novel with homosexual themes. When you first read it, you will care about Bai Xianyong's delicate writing, and then you have to sigh at the obscurity and depth of his pen.
The Son of Evil was first serialized in 1977 and officially published in 1981. In such an era of not being open enough, Bai Xianyong is obviously bold enough, he set himself up as a bullseye to attack, such courage is worthy of the goalkeeper.
As a gay writer, Bai Xianyong's earliest publication of "Moon Dream" is an allegorical gay theme work. Some people say that he rubbed his shadow into the story, but this is not the case.
Undoubtedly, as a member of this "third world", Bai Xianyong should have a more personal and profound understanding of this group of people. However, in "Evil Son", he focuses on the description of "people", but the excavation of "love", and finally deepens the brushstrokes into an illegitimate country, and there are a group of people who are not respected, which makes the reader sigh at the depth of his pen strength and also sigh in the unlit corner under the sun.
To this day, "The Son of Evil" is still a masterpiece worth reading repeatedly, and what it constructs is not a tragedy of a small group, but a human tragedy in the context of the entire era.
