The new Nintendo Switch Online expansion pack, which includes Nintendo 64 console and Sega MD console games, is currently available, but for an additional subscription fee.

As with the NES and SNES Game Collection, Japanese players and other server players will receive different versions of the game, including the Japanese version of the game, as well as the cover of the Japanese version.
Although Super Mario 64 used the physical cover of the earliest release in the Japanese version of the extension service program, the game was actually released in 1997 with a supportive version.
Early on, Nintendo released a gamepad add-on accessory called the "Rumble Pak" that added vibration feedback to the N64 gamepad. The Switch Online app supports the accessory, which means that any game that supports vibration will have vibration feedback. However, Super Mario 64 only supports vibration in the Japanese version of the app.
Players who have already purchased the service can register a separate Nikko account, download the Japanese version of the Nintendo 64 app for free, and then use the main account that purchased the service to play, and then get the super Mario 64 version that supports the controller vibration.
