Beijing time, October 26, 2016 The NBA officially announced the best player of the East-West Week in the first week. The West was elected by the Warriors' Stephen Curry, the 17th time in his career. The East was elected by the Hornets' Miles Bridges, the first time in his career that he received the award.

Curry and Bridges both helped the team to a 3-0 record last week;
Curry averaged 31.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 7.0 assists per game last week, and he is also the first Warriors player to have a 20+10 stat in the first three games of the season since Jerry Lucas in 1970-71.
Bridges averaged 25.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists last week, and Bridges is the second player in Hornets history to cut 30+ in the first three games.
