Wang Yi said that China and Qatar are each other's important strategic partners. The Chinese side appreciates the Qatari side's adherence to friendship with China and its commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation, and is willing to work with the Qatari side to implement the important consensus of the two heads of state, jointly build the "Belt and Road" with high quality, sign the implementation plan at an early date, expand cooperation between the two sides in various fields, and promote the continuous new progress of the China-Qatar strategic partnership.

Wang Yi said that China appreciates the Qatari side's active mediation and unique role in the Afghan issue, and is willing to strengthen strategic communication and coordination with the Qatari side, jointly safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of developing countries, and contribute to regional peace and stability and world prosperity and development. It is hoped that the Qatari side will actively participate in the "Global Development Initiative" and join the "China-Arab Countries Data Security Cooperation Initiative" as soon as possible to jointly promote global sustainable development and the healthy development of the digital economy.

Mohammed said that Qatar-China relations have achieved a huge leap forward in recent years. The Qatari side highly appreciates China's adherence to the principle of non-interference in internal affairs and its insistence on equality for all countries, large and small. Qatar is willing to work with China to expand mutually beneficial cooperation within the framework of jointly building the Belt and Road Initiative. China is the most important investment destination for the Qatari side in Asia, and the Qatari side is willing to increase investment in China and actively explore tripartite cooperation. Mohammed stressed that Qatar supports the "Global Development Initiative" proposed by President Xi Jinping and is willing to actively treat the "China-Arab Countries Data Security Cooperation Initiative".

The two sides also exchanged views on the situation in Afghanistan and agreed that the international community should take practical actions to alleviate a possible humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan and promote the development of the situation in Afghanistan in a direction conducive to maintaining stability in Afghanistan and to regional peace and security.
