February 16, the first day of the Chinese New Year, is a day of joy for the family.
On the same day, Zhangzidao (002069), an A-share company that experienced from "scallops running" to "scallops starving to death" in 2018, also released New Year's greeting information through the company's official WeChat account. But they may not have expected that they would once again become the focus of public opinion during the Spring Festival.
An online article titled "The Secret of Scallops" suggested: "Zhangzidao scallops may have migrated in large numbers to Hokkaido, Japan."
For the above article, on the evening of February 17, zhangzidao related people firmly denied it.
Before the Spring Festival, it was investigated by the Securities Regulatory Commission and named by Xinhua News Agency; on the first day of the Chinese New Year, it was "harassed" by an online article, and it seems that Zhangzidao did not have a good year.
Did the scallops of Zhangzidao run to Hokkaido?
The company responded: Scallops are not salmon!
On the evening of February 16, the WeChat public account "The Story of the King of Fighters" published an article titled "The Secret of Scallops", the author of which he described himself as a "former life science worker, now a financial worker".
Although the article claims: "Recently, the scallops of a listed company once again announced that they were running away, causing an uproar in the financial circle." "But the discerning person knows at a glance that the so-called scallop once again announced that a listed company that ran away is actually an allusion to ZhangziDao."
According to Zhangzidao's publicly disclosed announcement, "Scallops are starving to death, not running away", while "The Secret of Scallops" tries to say: "Scallops really run away, no, they are going home." ”
Zhangzidao is mainly engaged in the breeding, breeding, processing and sales of sea treasures such as Ezo scallops, sea cucumbers and abalone. The origin of Ezo scallops is in Japan.
The author quotes a Japanese fisherman as saying: "Scallops are extremely sensitive organisms to vibration, so we in Japan have been studying the use of scallops to predict earthquakes." And it is based on this that dalian scallops can feel the vibrational waves coming from Hokkaido, for them, it is the call of their hometown. ”

The article "The Secret of Scallops" said that when Japanese experts provided breeding suggestions to Dalian, they had ulterior motives to put forward a sprinkling scheme, so Dalian scallops were stocked on the seabed. This makes it easy for them to run, and every winter, the scallops in Dalian, after feeling the call of their compatriots, will follow the vibrational waves to begin a great comeback. In 2016, a total of 13,000 tons of Dalian scallops swam back to Hokkaido from Zhangzidao. "This is the greatest migration in history, comparable to the time Homo sapiens went from Africa to Eurasia."
Previously, there was an article on the fruit shell network that said that scallops can quickly open the shell, absorb water from the front, and then cover the front opening with the margin membrane, and then struggle to close the shell and spray the water from the rear to swim.
However, scallops swim at a height of only one meter, the speed does not exceed half a meter per second, and a maximum of five or six meters at a time will fall back to the bottom of the sea exhaustedly, and then most of them will have to rest for several hours to fully recover.
Even if it is a bad swimming skill, if you catch an ocean current or tide, the scallops can theoretically run very far. As a result, there has been speculation that some wild scallops migrate with the seasons, but there is a lack of solid evidence.
However, the Norwegian Seafood Board has said on its official Microblog that scallops migrate on a large scale, and according to divers, one body of water may not have a single scallop the day before and the next day is full of mature scallops.
For the views in the article, on the evening of February 17, a financial person who has long paid attention to Zhangzidao told the Securities Times E Company reporter:
Reading this article carefully, it is not difficult to find that the author is actually mocking Zhangzidao. If the reader is even serious about such a text, it can only be said that everyone does not have some basic natural knowledge, and they are really not qualified to evaluate the right and wrong of Zhangzidao.
The person said that he did not want to say anything more about the statements in the article, and the article was likely to cause new harm to the listed company.
"The claims in this article have crossed the bottom line of our knowledge, and as far as we know, scallops do not have the ability to migrate as described in the article." The above-mentioned relevant person on Zhangzidao said that the scientific point of view is that the Yellow Sea warm current goes north, through the South Korean branch, to China for the Yellow Sea warm current, to Japan for the Tsushima warm current (from the analysis of ocean dynamics, this is also the main evidence that Japanese nuclear radiation has not affected China). The claims in the article are also inconsistent with the biological habits and abilities of Ezo scallops, unless Ezo scallops in the Northern Yellow Sea, like salmon (salmon), swim upstream and follow the Tsushima Warm Current into Japan.
Investigated by the Securities and Futures Commission,
The Spring Festival in Zhangzidao is not good
As early as 2014, Zhangzidao had abnormal cold water masses in the North Yellow Sea, which made the million mu of Ezo scallops that were about to enter the harvest period be cut off. After Zhangzidao disclosed on the evening of January 30 that the inventory of bottom-sown Ezo scallops in some areas was abnormal, people's first reaction at that time was that "the scallops of Zhangzidao have swam away again." Although Zhangzidao has previously made an announcement on the causes of the loss of bottom-sown Ezo scallops, the content of this online article has once again pushed Zhangzidao to the cusp.

On February 5, Zhangzidao announced the results of the investigation into the scallop incident.
Due to the decrease in precipitation, the number of scallop bait organisms has declined, the substantial expansion of the breeding scale has aggravated the shortage of bait, coupled with the abnormality of sea temperature, resulting in scallops after the high temperature period becoming thinner and thinner, poorer and worse quality, and scallops that have been hungry for a long time have not been recovered, and finally induce death.
The scallops did not run, but were starved to death. This is the finding given by Zhangzidao. But the article "The Secret of scallops" once again pointed out that the scallops ran, so it attracted widespread attention.
For Zhangzidao, this year's Spring Festival is not good, not only was it questioned by an online article on the first day of the New Year, on the eve of the Spring Festival, Zhangzidao was also suspected of violating laws and regulations on information disclosure, and the China Securities Regulatory Commission decided to file a case investigation against the company. At the same time, the Dalian Securities Regulatory Bureau took administrative supervision measures against the listed company and the three senior executives involved.
The Dalian Securities Regulatory Bureau believes that zhangzidao's abnormal situation in the harvesting and sales of bottom-sown Ezo scallops will have a significant impact on the 2017 annual profit forecast data made by the company in the third quarter of 2017, which may lead to a significant deviation between the actual operating performance and the forecast performance, and the company did not timely correct the performance forecast or make necessary risk warnings.
On February 14, Xinhua News Agency said that after Zhangzidao exposed the "scallop escape" version 2.0, the stock price fell by more than 40% in just 7 trading days, and investors suffered heavy losses. The industry reminds that "relying on the sky to eat" makes it difficult for agricultural listed companies to have the characteristics of inventory audit, and for the potential uncertain risks of the industry, the company should explain clearly and clearly, reduce "natural disasters" and avoid "man-made disasters".
