The indigo bunting is a finches of the Family American finches that nest in large areas of the eastern half of the United States in bushes, and the males are almost indigo-blue, but they are replaced by brown body feathers during the winter in southern Mexico and Central America, similar to females.
General staple food plant seeds. The beak is mostly conical, with the upper and lower beak edges not tightly aligned and slightly curved inward.
They have been included in the IUCN, so protect them well.
