Industry holds up the "dream of poverty alleviation"
In 2016, Xiaxi Village had a total of 7 households and 21 people living in poverty, how to get them out of poverty and become rich? Under the initiative, advice and operation of Yu Kui, the Xiamei Agricultural Cooperative was established in the village, guiding farmers to plant crops such as okra and taro, and raising 8,000 hair-footed chickens at the same time. Yu Guanxi is a poor household in the village, but he has a wealth of experience in vegetable cultivation, at the end of 2015, Yu Kui arranged for him to work in an agricultural cooperative, with a fixed income of more than 2,000 yuan per month, and at the end of 2016, Yu Guanxi's family got rid of poverty.

Yu Kui said that we have seriously studied ecological agriculture, Xiaxi Village has built a 100-meter sightseeing pavilion, planted a large number of landscape trees along the creek, there are water wheels in the stream, and the village has also clocked 300 acres of rapeseed flowers.
"Poverty alleviation depends on industry, and revitalization depends on spirit." Yu Kui said at the two village committees that the comprehensive quality of the villagers will be improved, the ideological concepts will change, the civilized village style will be formed, and it will be of great benefit to the lasting development of the village economy.
There are more than 3,000 overseas Chinese in Xiaxi Village, and Yu Kui contacted the provincial, municipal, and county overseas Chinese offices and judicial departments to set up a "overseas Chinese rights protection point" in Xiaxi Village, so that the overseas Chinese who returned to their hometowns to invest ate a "reassuring pill."
The village also uses the Yu Ancestral Hall as a platform to carry out a series of activities to respect the elderly with blood kinship and traditional folk customs as the link, such as the establishment of the village elderly fund association to issue "respect for the elderly": 70 years old and above the elderly monthly subsidy of 30 yuan, 80 years old and over 50 yuan subsidy, 90 years old and above subsidy 80 yuan.
