Minqing Booted chicken is commonly known as Minqing native chicken, Minqing native chicken, wool-foot chicken, wind tail chicken, etc., which is a local breed of combined use, originating in Minqing County, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province.

Physical appearance characteristics
The Minqing hairy-footed chicken is larger, with a deep and wide chest, a straight back, a gray-black beak, an upright single crown, and 5-7 crown teeth, which are red. The fleshy hair is long, droopy and red. The ear lobes are red. The tibia is long and cyan in color. The skin is white. The tail feathers are high-winged, the sickle feathers are developed, black with a dark green metallic luster, resembling a phoenix tail, leg feathers, shin feathers, and toe feathers are developed.
The rooster's head, neck feathers are reddish brown or golden yellow, back feathers are dark brown, thorax, abdomen feathers are mostly black gray, and leg feathers are bluish black.
