Glutinous valley pig, also known as yellow pig, one of the famous agricultural products in Bijie City, is an excellent local pig breed in China, and is the "original protected breed" of the Ministry of Agriculture. In 2004, the expert group inspected and demonstrated, and was personally named and inscribed by the famous animal husbandry scientist Professor Sheng Zhilian and inscribed "Nayong Glutinous Valley Pig".
Nayong County, the pig producing area of Nuogu, is located in the middle of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, in the south-central part of Bijie City, and in the southeast foothills of Wumeng Mountain, with an average altitude of 1685 meters. The whole territory is mountainous, with overlapping peaks, ravines and ravines, cut under the flowing water, and steep slopes, which are typical karst landforms. Feeding on coarse grains such as corn, potatoes and wheat bran, coupled with long-term exercise, has created the characteristics of strong limbs, strong muscles, strong disease resistance, high lean meat rate and excellent meat quality of the glutinous valley pigs.

It is understood that the company began to breed glutinous pig in 2000, the glutinous valley pig farm was built in Dongdi Township, Nayong County, with continuous development, led to 285 households (1404 people) in Dongdi Township accurate poor households and 13 disabled people into the stock dividends and 138 disabled people to participate in the breeding of glutinous pigs. At present, 486 breeding households have been developed in Nayong County, with an average annual income increase of 3,000 yuan, and 14 large breeding households have been developed in Bijie City, and more than 4,000 sows can be bred in the existing pen.
