Four-value Gong Cao

Also known as "Gong Cao on Duty". The four small gods who are on duty in the heavenly court, the month, the day, and the time of the heavenly court, which are believed in Taoism, are equivalent to the duty gods in the celestial realm. They are Li Bing, the god of the year, Huang Chengyi, the god of the moon, Zhou Deng, the god of the sun, and Liu Hong, the god of time.

Twenty-eight gods

The twenty-eight gods were originally the names of the stars, and the ancient astrologers called the celestial areas through which the sun and moon passed "ecliptic", and divided the stars in the ecliptic into four groups of green dragon, suzaku, white tiger and xuanwu according to the southeast and northwest directions, with seven houses in each of the four sides. Taoism believes that each constellation has a divine general, that is, there are a total of twenty-eight divine generals, collectively known as the twenty-eight houses.
