The total amount of support for the "Atami City Heavy Rain Mudslide Disaster Rehabilitation Project", which was launched by haruka Shimada, a former AKB48 member, on August 1, reached 2.48 million yen at 6:00 a.m. on August 31. The target amount is 1 million yen, accounting for 248%, and the total number of supporters is 342.
Born in Atami City, Shimada was selected as an idol through the 9th graduate school selection of AKB48 in 2009. He graduated from the group in November 2017. In December of the same year, he retired from the entertainment industry, and after studying abroad, he established "Dct" (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) to support his idol's second career in 20 years. In July, a second company was established, and although it was very busy, it was also involved in the promotion and reception of the "Inn Tachibana" in the atami onsen of his hometown.
The mudslide disaster in Atami occurred on July 3. Shimada said on the project's official website, "Makuake," "When a disaster occurred, I wanted to 'do what I can do now for Theami, where I was born and grew up,' and I immediately felt this way." But to be honest, I didn't know what to do at first. What exactly I needed, what I was looking for, about a month after the disaster, I spent every day groping for what I could do for Atami.
In the process of delivering water to the scene and talking to the victims, I considered what I could do, so I planned a cloud fan meeting. Although there are only a limited number of things I can do alone, my friends are all over the country. Gathering the strength of these partners should become a great force. For the revival of Atami, please use everyone's strength."
The Crown fans will appeal for support until September 18. In return, Shimada's thank-you information and event report with photos are sent to supporters for four sets of packages: 3,000 yen, 10,000 yen, 30,000 yen, and 50,000 yen. The funds collected will be donated in full, excluding the handling fee.
