Xia Peijie was born on May 15, 1920 in Ning'an County, Heilongjiang Province. In November 1937, at the age of 17, she was admitted to the first stage of the "Full Screen" actor training class, and 43 trainees were hired at that time, including 21 female trainees. Before entering the training class, she was a conductor at the Harbin Tram Company. In 1939, Xia Peijie married PuKe, who had been a student of the third phase of "Full Screen".
In 1944, Xia Peijie participated in his first film "A Generation of Marriage Tide", in which he played Mama Liu, and later, he participated in films such as "Songhua River" and "Little White Dragon".
In 1950, Xia Peijie and her husband Pu Ke came from Changchun to the Institute of Performing Arts of the Central Film Bureau (the predecessor of the Beijing Film Academy) in Beijing, where she worked as a physical teacher. While teaching, he also participated in many films, such as "Defender of Peace", "Towards New China", "Shajiadian Grain Station", "A Proposal" and so on.
In January 1956, due to a change in the management system, the actors were required to go back and forth from where they went. Therefore, the couple returned to Changchun and entered the Long Shadow Actors Troupe. In 1991, Xia Peijie, who was a green leafy and godson of Xiangfu, died of illness at the age of 71, and the old man of Puke seemed to have aged much older overnight in the face of such a blow.
In late 1995, a few years after his wife's death, in order to take care of the 79-year-old man, Puke was introduced to marry Zhang Jing, a former educator. However, on March 17, 2004, Puke died of illness at the age of 88.
