Pu Ke (11 January 1916 – 17 March 2004) was born in Penglai County, Yantai City, Shandong Province, and was an actor Chinese mainland. In 1939, he participated in his first film "True and False Sisters" and thus began his career as an actor, whose representative works include "Underground Soldier", "Jia Wu Fengyun", "Heroes and Children", "People to Middle Age", etc., and won the Special Honorary Award of the 3rd Golden Phoenix Awards.
He has been in the shadow for 65 years and is known as the "Elder of the Three Dynasties". He has played nearly 100 roles in the dramas "A Q Zheng biography", "Taiping Heavenly Kingdom", "WanshiShiShi Table", "Peacock Bile", "Absurd Hero", "Mandarin Duck After the Disaster", "History of the Green Forest"; "On the Songhua River"; "Before the Arrival of the New Director", "Underground Soldier", "Ice and Snow Jindalai", "Jia Wu Fengyun", "Heroic Children", "Sunny Day", and "Sacrifice of Red".
He once served as the deputy head of the Long Film Actor Troupe, and he went to the countryside of Dongfeng County, Jilin Province, as an ordinary citizen, and he won a variety of award certificates. Pu Ke, whose original name was Pu Yufang, was born in Penglai, Shandong Province in January 1916, under pu ke's pseudonym, signed up for the "Manying" actor training institute in 1938, PuKe joined the institute in May, and in July he took out to play a small role as a stenographer in "National Law Selfless". In 1941, Chinese director Zhang Tianci invited Pu Ke to play the protagonist Wang Dafan in "Absurd Heroes" and also play Dr. Ma, and after Pu Ke starred in this film, he starred in many films such as "Mirror Flower Water Moon", "Yishun Baishun", "Song Girl Hate", "Yingchun Flower", "Mandarin Duck after the Disaster", "Qianjin Huazi", "History of the Green Forest" and many other films, becoming one of the famous male actors in the later stage of "Manying". In 1939, he married xia Peijie, an actress "Goldfish Beauty".
On August 15, 1945, Japan announced its unconditional surrender and the puppet state of Manchukuo fell. In early September, Zhang Xinshi led the organization of the two "alliances" and established the "Northeast Film Workers Alliance". In mid-September, in the name of the "Alliance", he took over the power of the original "Manying", and in that year, Changchun held a "celebration of the victory of the 'Nine-Three'", and Puke participated in the performance of the street drama "Put Down Your Whip" (as Grandpa).
On October 1, Northeast Film Company was established. During this period, the Kuomintang agents have been competing with the Northeast Film Company for personnel, and Puke has always stood firmly on the side of the company, and actively participated in the actors' performances of dramas such as "A Q Zheng biography" (as Ah Q) and "Taiping Heavenly Kingdom" (as Hong Xiuquan). The characters he plays are not exaggerated, not pretentious, and each is just right and loved by the audience. Jinshan announced the establishment of Changchun Film Studio (referred to as "long-term production"). Puke had a good impression of Kanayama and decided to participate in the "long system" and continue his film career. After establishing a firm foothold in relations with the military and political parties in Changchun, Shenyang, Jinshan overcame difficulties such as the shortage of funds and machinery, and soon organized his backbone personnel to prepare for the filming of the feature film "On the Songhua River". Zhang Ruifang plays the granddaughter, Pu Ke plays the grandfather, and the actor plays the youth first. The film was filmed on location on the outskirts of Jilin City.
On the pretext of going to Beiping to shoot "Harbin Night", Jinshan led several actors and several administrative staff, including PuKe, to withdraw from Changchun at the earliest. After arriving in Beiping, Jinshan borrowed the "CLP" third factory and began to prepare for the filming of "Harbin Night". Puke and his wife, Xia Peijie, lived in a house near Xinjiekou. Pu Ke did not have anything to do for a while, and made a cameo appearance in "Qiu Jin" of the third factory of "CLP".
Pu Ke participated in the Beiping Film Studio established in April (on October 1, Peiping was renamed Beijing, and "Beiying" was also renamed Beijing Film Studio), pu ke and Xia Peijie were the same actors, and Pu Ke was also the deputy chief of the actor section. The two started a new life. In 1950, Beiying Film shot the feature film "Hero of Lü Liang", and the director invited Puke to play Zhang Laohan in the film.
In the same year, Pu Ke was also invited by The Eastern Film director Wang Jiayi to star as Li Guangcai, a skilled worker, in "High Song". Because Puke is very serious, he has better shaped the image of Li Guangcai, a skilled worker. These two characters are the first two characters played by Puke in the history of new Chinese cinema.
There is no drama to play. In 1955, the system was adjusted, and the actors were sent back to the factories. In June of that year, Xu Liankai and 57 other actors were transferred back to Long Shadow. In January 1956, Puke and his wife Xia Peijie were also transferred back to the Long Film Actors Troupe. After Puke returned to the factory, Lü Ban first invited him to play Director Zhang in the comedy film "Before the Arrival of the New Director".
At this time, director Yan Gong was preparing for "Underground Soldiers" and invited Puke to star in the film Tao Gan, an underground worker of our party. The film depicts that on the eve of the liberation of Peiping, our underground workers led by Tao Gan went through all kinds of dangers, broke through the traps set by the enemy, and successfully obtained information on the date of the enemy's retreat. When Playing this character, Puke showed the wit and bravery of our party's underground workers and the various excellent qualities of improvisation, and the characters were full of flesh and blood, and successfully shaped the typical image of our underground workers in the early days of new Chinese films. This is also the representative figure that Puke created in the 50s.
After completing "Underground Soldiers", it entered 1958, and PuKe acted in 5 plays in succession in a year: first in "Xu Qiuying Case" as Du Yongkai, the director of public security, and then in "Ancient Temple Bells", he played Minister Zhou, which was still two good quality films in the long film films of that year. The other 3 films: "Singing on the Reservoir", "A New Lesson", and "The Story of Scars", because these films were rushed, the script was very immature, and soon became a waste after filming.
In the early 1960s, Pu Ke was invited by director Lin Nong to play Ding Ruchang, the admiral of the Beiyang Marine Division, in the historical film "Jia Wu Fengyun". "The Storm of The Afternoon Storm" is the first historical film film shot by Long Shadow, and it is very difficult to shoot. Director Lin Nong carefully conceived, Li Moran, Wang Qiuying, Pu Ke, Pang Xueqin and Zhou Wenbin and other big names worked together to make the film reach a high level. With majestic righteousness, the film composes an inspiring patriotic ode.
The film successfully portrays the heroic images of Deng Shichang, Ding Ruchang and the patriotic sailor Wang Guocheng. Ding Ruchang, played by Pu Ke, is a patriotic officer with a contradictory personality, and Pu Ke talks about the ambivalence of this character: the ambivalence of both obeying Li Hongzhang's dispatch and resisting, and the performance is just right, which is the representative character image created by Pu Ke in the 60s.
At that time, it was in a difficult period of three years, the production task of the film was sharply reduced, in order to make the actors get exercised, but also in order to create some income, the long shadow actor troupe, once organized the whole troupe of actors, and at the same time rehearsed and performed four major dramas: "Peacock Guts", "Promotion Map", "Fog Chongqing", "I am a soldier". Puke participated in the performance of these plays, playing Liang Wang in "Peacock Guts".
In December 1962, Puke was appointed first deputy head of the troupe, in charge of business. The troupe carefully organized four dramas to be performed in several cities across the country, which not only trained the actors, but also created certain economic benefits for the factory. In the first half of the 1960s, the actors of Changying Translation and Production also rehearsed and performed the drama "Baotou Phoenix", which was performed more than 200 times in Changchun, Dalian, Harbin, Qiqihar and other places. Sensational. This period was the most glorious period in the history of the Long Shadow Actors Troupe that Puke experienced.
In 1964, Puke also played the North Korean grandfather Kim Jong-tae in "Heroes and Children" directed by Wu Zhaodi, although there were only two main scenes: leading the crowd to carry the jeep through the bomb crater, and in the emergency moment of enemy bombing, carrying a stretcher across the glacier, both of which were exciting and showed the passion of an old actor, which was one of the glorious supporting roles played by Puke and was praised by people.
In 1972, Linnong prepared to shoot "Sunny Days", invited Puke to play the "anti-number one" Ma Zhiyue, and Puke's family returned to Changchun. After Puke finished filming this play, he participated in the filming of "The Story of Xiangyangyuan" and "Severe Course", and in 1979, he played the protagonist cheng Ruisheng, an old ceramic worker, in Zhang Xinshi's "Sacrifice of Red".
His daughter Gong Xue and son-in-law Lin Qiang, who played with him, are both newcomers. Gong Xue is filming for the first time, and Lin Qiang has only played a small role in one play before. After Puke was invited to shoot "Man to Middle Age" and "The Girl from Huangshan Mountain", he went through the retirement procedures in 1984. After retiring, he participated in the filming of films such as "China's "Little Emperor"", "The Great Hero of Kanto", and "The Empress Dowager of the Two Palaces". After that, he practiced calligraphy for several years, and his calligraphy was quite good, and he kept asking for words.
