After understanding the situation, in order to calm down this contradiction and dispute in time, the police immediately joined hands with the village group cadres, and after a large number of visits and investigations, it was finally confirmed that the four poplar trees were planted by Liang's father, and later although the land changed owners, the ownership of these four poplar trees should belong to Liang. After the police explained the results of the investigation to the two parties, Liang and Xiang both accepted this fact, stopped arguing, and signed the agreement and shook hands in front of everyone.
