Italian legend Paolo Rossi has passed away

On December 10, local time, a number of Italian media reported that Italian legendary Football Star Paolo Rossi died of illness in Rome at the age of 64.

One of the greatest players in Italian football, Rossi, nicknamed the "Golden Boy", was born in Prato, Tuscany in 1956 and retired in 1987 after playing for Juventus, Perugia, AC Milan and other clubs, winning two Serie A titles and one Champions League. In the national team, Rossi made 48 appearances for the "Blue Army", scoring 20 goals.

At the 1982 World Cup in Spain, Rossi had the highlight of his career when he scored six goals alone, including a "hat-trick" against Brazil, helped the Italian national team win the Spanish World Cup, and won the Golden Boot and Ballon d'Or at the world cup, and was widely regarded as one of Italy's best strikers.
