Zhang Zheng, born in Beijing on May 18, 1931, was originally named Zhang Qiaofu, and Zhang Zheng went to Hong Kong in 1948 to develop.
He joined the Great Wall Pictures Company in 1951 and starred in films such as "Ming Feng", "Thunderstorm", "Rose Rock", "Fisherman's Love", "Absolute Beauty", "Blood Stained Girl's Heart", "Heroes and Children", "Qu Yuan" and other films, he was an all-round actor in Chinese films at that time, and his drama path was very wide.
Subsequently, Zhang Zheng began to participate in behind-the-scenes work such as choreography and directing, and became famous with several "Strange Fun" documentaries such as "Xinjiang Fun Record" and "Chinese National Sports Fun Record", and won the title of "Strange Fun Director".
In the 1990s, Zhang Zheng only faded out of the Hong Kong film and television circle, and after fading out, Zhang Zheng immigrated to Canada and settled in Vancouver. After immigrating, Zhang Zheng also actively participated in many European and American films, such as "2012" (2009), "Shanghai Noon" (2000) and "Young Agent Cody" (2003). In an interview before his death, Zhang Zheng claimed that the West will need and pay great attention to Chinese actors in the future, and Chinese who grew up in Canada or the United States will have a certain language advantage. He also worked with filmmakers in Canada to organize an actor training class to cultivate local talent, teach them basic filmmaking and filmmaking skills, and enter the Western film and television industry.
