The chairman of Tangshan Bank has not yet been determined, and Wang Weiguo will perform some of his duties

On April 13, Tangshan Bank announced that Wang Weiguo, secretary of the party committee and executive director of the bank, will be responsible for some matters in the responsibilities of the chairman of the board.

In September 2020, Du Shaoguang, the former chairman of Tangshan Bank, was appointed as the county-level leader of the Tangshan Economic and Trade Promotion Association, and the position of chairman of the bank has been vacant so far. At that time, Tangshan Bank announced that it recommended an executive director of An Jianping to perform the duties of chairman on behalf of the board, and the Tangshan Banking and Insurance Regulatory Bureau approved it.

In March 2021, the term of An Jianping's performance of duties expired, and the board of directors of Tangshan Bank elected Wang Weiguo as the executive director of the bank.

Tangshan Bank said that before the bank's chairman is formally declared and approved, Wang Weiguo will specifically perform some of the duties of the chairman, including: 1. preside over the shareholders' meeting and convene and preside over the board of directors meeting; 2. supervise and inspect the implementation of the board of directors' resolutions; 3. sign important documents of the board of directors and other documents that should be signed by the bank's legal representative.

Wang Weiguo, male, Han ethnicity, born in October 1970, member of the Communist Party of China, doctoral degree. He has successively served as a section member, director, deputy station manager and station chief of Tangshan Engineering Construction Cost Management Station, deputy director of Tangshan Earthquake Bureau (presiding over the work), director and secretary of the party group, deputy secretary of the Lubei District Party Committee (at the county level), acting district chief, district chief, secretary of the government party group, deputy secretary of the Lunan District Party Committee, district chief and secretary of the government party group. Since August 16, 2018, according to the appointment of the Tangshan Municipal Party Committee (Tang Ganzi [2018] No. 119), he has been appointed as the Secretary of the Party Committee of our bank. On November 5, 2020, after the deliberation and approval of the first extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of our bank in 2020 and the approval of the qualifications of the Tangshan Banking and Insurance Regulatory Bureau, he was elected as the executive director of the seventh board of directors of the bank.
