On the evening of July 10th, the original Yue opera modern drama "The Love of Walnut Trees", jointly produced by the Propaganda Department of the Shengzhou Municipal Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Shengzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film and Tourism, and the Zhejiang Xiaobaihuayue Theater, was successfully performed at the Beijing Tianqiao Theater. As an excellent stage art exhibition and performance work celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the play is the only Yue opera stage art work performed in Jinjing in China, which is a tribute to the centenary of the founding of the Party.

The modern Yue opera drama "The Love of the Walnut Tree" is based on a true story that takes place in Xianrenkeng Village, Shengzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Wang Ronghao was selected to work on nuclear bomb technology because of his excellent technology. Until retirement, the couple had been separated. Because it is a confidential work, he can only go home to visit his relatives once a year for 20 years, and his wife Wang Xianqin has only visited his relatives twice in the place where he works, and has lived for less than ten days. More than forty years ago, Wang Ronghao brought back a large walnut from his work and planted it in front of his house with his wife. Wang Xianqin is like raising her own children, taking care of her carefully. Today, this walnut tree has grown into a towering tree with a diameter of more than 50 centimeters and a height of nearly 20 meters.
This seemingly ordinary but touching story has attracted the famous director Yang Xiaoqing, the famous screenwriter Xie Lihong, the famous playwright Huang Xiangang, the "light poet" Zhou Zhengping and the first-class artistic creation experts inside and outside Zhejiang Province to join. In the case of her husband Yu Jiaping's work secrecy, the heroine Mei Achu gradually changed her feelings from doubts and dissatisfaction to understanding and tolerance, and silently supported her, until she integrated her personal love into her great love for the country. Through the heroine's mental journey, the whole drama reflects the sacrifice and dedication of a generation.
Where it is impossible to plant live walnut trees, live walnut trees are planted; those who cannot survive have survived; countries that cannot build atomic bombs have built atomic bombs... The whole drama is not only an innocent love song with a warm pulse, but also a magnificent and fierce ode to the home country.
"Spring has the fragrance of flowers, summer has shade, autumn has fruits, winter has warm sun, holding the hand of the son, growing old with the son, and spending time quietly with the lover." In the play, the female protagonist (played by ni Jinjin, a national second-level actor), has a bright and bright Lu Pai singing voice, and the male protagonist (played by national second-level actor Lou Yujian) has a mellow and timeless Yin Pai singing voice, which complements the personality of the characters. The emotional performances of the main actors on the stage made the audience feel infected by it.
"It tells the story of our people, so it's particularly moving." Another audience member, Aunt Wang, said.
It is worth mentioning that the prototype of the heroine in the play, Wang Xianqin, also came to the scene to watch the performance on the evening of the 10th. At the end of the curtain, she was invited to the stage and warmly hugged the female lead.

It is reported that the play will kick off the prelude to the national tour in August, using walnut trees to interpret the greatness of the feelings of home and country, and using Yue tones to play the praises of the times and the home country.
