Zhang Wei, secretary of the party committee and chairman of The Great Wall Securities Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Great Wall Securities"), said in an exclusive interview with a reporter from China Securities News recently that Great Wall Securities has established "safety" and "leadership" as the guiding ideology of the company's high-quality development, replacing the strategic model that hovered between too free marketization or too conservative steady rhythm in the past, and replacing the "core engine" of development. Zhang Wei said that the securities industry should take the initiative to seize new historical opportunities for development: First, energy market opportunities. In the future, the country's investment demand in new energy transformation will be huge, and the investment in the upstream and downstream industrial chains and the investment in scientific and technological innovation transformation driven by new energy transformation will reach a trillion-level scale, and the securities industry will have unlimited business opportunities and great achievements in helping energy transformation. The second is capital market opportunities. With the needs of China's economic development, the construction of a capital market with volume, quality, openness and stability has become an important part of the national strategy, and the registration system, investment institutionalization and asset innovation have become a significant trend in the capital market. The securities industry has undoubtedly ushered in a new period of development opportunities again.

Improve the correction mechanism. Especially at the level of system management, based on the actual development needs, do a good job in the "retention, abolition, reform and establishment" of the system. We should continue to conscientiously implement the effective system; adjust and update the system that is not strong or perfect in a timely manner; and adjust or abolish the system or clause that does not meet the needs of the company's development and has become obsolete. Deepen the treatment of both symptoms and root causes, strengthen the construction of the company system system, and form a long-term mechanism for standardized management and scientific development.

Second, build four characteristic tracks. In terms of wealth management business, adhere to the customer-centric, gather wealth management, value creation, accelerate the construction of core competitiveness; investment banking business, focus on science and technology finance, green finance, to create a specialized investment bank featuring energy and science and technology industry, play the driving effect of the "locomotive"; asset management business, return to the business source, based on the results of active management transformation, and strive to become an important internal support wealth management business product center and the company's external important customer center.

In terms of institutional business, to deepen industrial research, the company's industrial finance research institute was founded and released the Great Wall Securities Carbon Neutral Series Index; asset custody obtained a public offering license, accelerated the development of recommended business, and became an important weapon for the growth of the company's institutional business; investment research business gradually embarked on the journey of "smart investment" and effectively played the role of "think tank".

Third, strengthen the three major supervision guarantees: in terms of compliance risk control, the company takes comprehensiveness, refinement and technology as the main line of development, strengthens the fineness of risk control at all levels, implements the responsibilities of the three lines of defense, strengthens the comprehensive risk management system, and strengthens the awareness of risk control and compliance of all employees.
