Harumin Copy is one of the representative works of Japanese writer Junichiro Tanizaki, published in 1933. Junichiro Tanizaki's pursuit of female beauty can be described as morbid, and in this book, like other works, he gives Haruka's attractive beauty and the appearance of women in the world. Chunqin is beautiful and can "do whatever she wants", although blind, she can still attract many men. Also because of the eye disease, coupled with such beauty, it is even more pitiful.
Chunqin's experience is sympathetic, but she does not feel it herself, but has become obedient because of her blindness. She is coldly harsh on the people around her, and is a rich lady with no sympathy, arbitrarily dominating and punishing people.
But she has a thousand bad things, which will be covered up by her beauty and musical skills. God is fair enough to give her good looks and great piano skills, but doesn't give her perfection. In the "Chunqin Copy", it is recorded that she has a habit of cleanliness, never wears slightly dirty clothes, and changes her intimate clothes every day. It can be seen that whether in life or learning piano skills, she is a strict woman.
From these aspects, Chunqin's treatment of love is also very strict, and even has serious emotional cleanliness. Therefore, her love for Sasuke has always been vague, both afraid of loneliness and unwilling to truly marry Sasuke, and willing to endure the guidance of the world.
The author is very strange that she obviously has the beauty and skills to fight against blindness and obedient personality, but it disfigures her in the later stages. One unknown night, a thief broke in and knocked over a pot of boiling water, scalding her face. The story and process of her disfigurement is also questionable, and the reason is unknown.
But since she was disfigured, desperate to regain her former beauty, after failing, she put on the veil, reduced her going out, and almost never saw anyone other than Sasuke.

This is inseparable from Sasuke, who loves her. Sasuke was three years older than her, entered the house that year, and later became Haruka's personal servant. After the disfigurement, she hardly saw anyone again, naturally did not teach, and the students naturally handed over to Sasuke. Without Sasuke, Haruka's life would have been lonely and desolate. But even without Sasuke, there would probably be someone else, but not sasuke who loved her as much. Losing their eyes and disfiguring are the two most important turning points in their lives, the former allowing Sasuke to enter Haruka's life, and the latter allowing Sasuke to stand by Haruka's side as a real man.
