It's a beautiful movie. I've always used to use "ben" as a quantifier for movies. Maybe it's because in my mind, movies are like books. I don't know much about Japanese history, but after watching the movie, I also went to find some stories about Senritsu and Japanese tea. Senritsu was a famous tea ceremony master of the Japanese Sengoku Azuchi Momoyama period. The so-called Azuchi Momoyama is the name of Oda Nobunaga's Azuchi Castle and Toyotomi Hideyoshi's Momoyama Castle. Naming the era after the castle shows that both were strongmen in Japan's Sengoku period, and their influence was far-reaching. And Qian Lixiu was in the middle of it, taking tea as a matter, and served two people successively.
It is reported that the Japanese tea ceremony originated from Murata Zhuguang, who once visited the famous Japanese Zen figure Ichigo Tsung-jun - that is, the clever Ichigo who we are familiar with, after learning Zen, he mixed Zen with tea, loved to hang the ink of the Song monk Yuan goku Keqin Zen master in the tea room, and created the grass ann tea, and Japan has the saying of tea Zen. The Tang Dynasty and the Song Dynasty all influenced the Japanese people to the deepest, and the Japanese people took the name similar to the Legal name of the song dynasty monks. Among the tea people influenced by the pearlescent light is a man named Takeno Shoo, who is the teacher of Senritsu. Explaining this lineage relationship, we can understand the influence of Zen on Senritsu, and we can better understand the spiritual connotation of the Japanese tea ceremony master.
Born into a merchant family, Senritsu began to learn tea ceremony at an early age and studied under Takeno Shou. The content of the Japanese tea ceremony was not only created by pearlescent, but also perfected by Shao Ou, while Ritsugu can be said to be the person who completed the Japanese tea ceremony, and eventually formed the "harmony, respect, purity, and silence" Japanese tea ceremony, which really has a great influence on Japan. If we exaggerate a little, it can be said that the image of the Japanese people in other countries today can find the spiritual source from it.
Rishio became the tea head of Oda Nobunaga and Toyotomi Hideyoshi because he was good at tea soup, held a tea party, and became the first teamaker in Japan at that time, and his reputation was unique. However, in the end, he was ordered by Toyotomi Hideyoshi to commit suicide by cutting his abdomen, and the reasons were not clear, and there were many controversies and it was difficult to determine. One of the most interesting accounts is that he was jealous of Toyotomi Hideyoshi.
Where is the question? At that time, Toyotomi Hideyoshi had already put an end to the war, king's landing island country, why should he be jealous of a tea master? The Japanese pride themselves on Bushido, the tradition of cutting the abdomen, cutting open the belly, picking out the internal organs, and showing the meaning of liver and gallbladder. Why would Toyotomi Hideyoshi let a tea man self-destruct by cutting his abdomen? Looking back, the title of the film is "In Search of Qianlixiu", which may also mean that the director himself is also in the face of such a character who has had a huge impact on the times and is still influencing the times. To explore the inner world of Qianlixiu, to find the little footprints he left behind, all the beauty!
At the beginning of the film, Toyotomi Hideyoshi forces Chiri to cut his belly with three thousand samurai. Heavy rain poured down, mixing the heavens and the earth, and Li Xiu's wife Zong'en walked under the porch with a lamp in her hand, cautiously. The storm was raging, the lights were fluttering and not extinguished, and Zong'en's body was soft and curved, as if he had suffered something. When he came to the kneeling Senritsu, the first words were" What a fierce storm! "It is the fierce wind and rain, and it is also the three thousand samurai that Li Xiu has to face."
"Spring is accompanied by torrential rains", Li Xiu responded calmly.
In good movies, the lines are often subtle and meaningful. Three thousand samurai surrounded, so Zong'en said that the wind and rain were fierce, and it was from the wind and rain that the three thousand samurai were fierce. But Li Xiu's words were exported, "Spring is accompanied by heavy rain", a sentence suddenly showed a sense of superiority from the predicament, the wind and rain dissipated the qi of the armor, reduced to the wind and rain, even if it was fierce, but the normal spring day, it can be seen that his heart was not moved by the three thousand armor.

After Li Xiu said this, he asked Zong En to extinguish the lamp. The lamp is an external light, which can illuminate people but not themselves. Lishu was clear in his heart, and he did not need to use the external light, because he had already seen it.
The heart is not moving, and it is the self that is guarded, but it does not mean that the situation will change as a result. Because the situation will change only because of human behavior, not the human heart. So after the lights went out, Riccio talked about the armor in front of him. Dealing with a tea man, he used three thousand samurai, which was his immediate situation.
Three thousand samurai against a tea man who manipulates tea sets all day long. I have to say that there is a lot to think about, isn't it ridiculous that Toyotomi Hideyoshi arranged it like this? With his position and power, no matter what purpose he wanted to accomplish, even if he only sent one person, Qianlixiu should only have to bow his head and cut his belly, would there be any other possibility? Three thousand and one husbands, under the disparity, toyotomi Hideyoshi is to fulfill the name of the legend of Riku?
When the world sees this, they are surprised and surprised, often vaguely thinking that it is toyotomi Hideyoshi's madness, and their hearts tend to recognize the beauty of a generation of tea people, which makes Toyotomi Hideyoshi jealous and crazy, and thus has a more yearning for Rishio. At this time, Li Xiu in the film said a rather playful confession:
"I have dedicated my whole life to that cup of tea, and I have spent my whole life only for excellence. The end of this is..."
What's the end? Is it three thousand armor outside the door? After a sudden pause, Li Xiu suddenly changed his tone and said:
"It's not just force and money that drives the world."
To do only one thing in a lifetime will be in such a state of purity. I want to come to the master to praise King Wen and say that King Wen's virtue is pure. Pure words are difficult to understand, and mistakes are rigid. What was at the end, Li xiu did not say explicitly, but what he encountered in front of his eyes could not be clearer. A lifetime of tea, excellence, how to end the robbery of the sword? Between the two, cause and effect are difficult to say, it is better not to say. Perhaps Li Xiu found out that he could not seem to associate his tea with the sword soldier in front of him as a cause and effect, so he stopped halfway and turned to say the following sentence.
It's not just force and money that drives the world.
This sentence is the reason why he stopped his mouth, because it was indeed not the tea ceremony that caused the knife soldiers, but because he used a cup of tea to drive the world!
Most of the world's affairs are vulgar, small and wordy and not worth looking at, because they cannot shock the eyes and ears. Street brawls will not go down in history, but the struggle between Piaf and Tianzi will. Rishiu drives the world with a cup of tea, and Toyotomi Hideyoshi is the one he calls the one who drives the world with force and money. After Toyotomi Hideyoshi appeared, the crowd discovered that he did not necessarily have to die, but asked him to bow his head and even sacrifice only one thing to save his life. But Li Xiu was stunned and responded calmly, and the only thing that could make him bow his head was good things.
It can be seen that in Rishiu's eyes, Toyotomi Hideyoshi is not a beautiful thing. So what is the good thing in Li xiu's eyes? In the legendary confrontation between Pifu and Tianzi, one of Zong'en's questions precisely gives the answer:
"In your heart, you have always thought of that person!"
The thunder sounded, as if the heart was thinking, only to know that the past was vividly remembered.
【Beauty of the world】
The film is a flashback technique, and the introduction has already explained the ending. Flashbacks are sometimes not flattering, or make it more difficult to tell the story, because the ending is revealed. Sentient beings are afraid of fruits but covet results, and when all the results occur, they will be interested. But there are no absolutes, but the wise can do the opposite, build suspense in the results, and make people want to explore why all this has evolved to this point.
The only thing that makes Li xiu bow his head is the good things. The official beginning of the film is when Oda Nobunaga is busy in search of beautiful things. A confident and strong man riding a sword, known as the Three Heroes of the Japanese Sengoku, a legend in his life. Coming from an aristocratic background, he not only had a superb vision, but also an innate appreciation of good things. The so-called innate, many people will feel that it is a gift from God, but often the more practical meaning is the influence of the ethos accumulated by a family on future generations.
Oda Nobunaga broke the stalemate between the Warring States and led the Warring States to the road of reunification and modernization. But such a hero of the times is not a warrior, but with the temperament and insight given by the family, so that he has a sense of appreciation of beautiful things beyond ordinary people.
There is a saying that there is never a lack of beauty in the world, but a lack of eyes to find beauty. I think it's as if we look out the window at random, that is, we can see the beauty of all things and creations born of heaven and earth. Most people just don't notice it, and they lack the ability to perceive beautiful things! In the Confucian sense, it is the truth of the grid.
A lattice object is to be able to sense things, to be close to things, to be a thing that is vivid and straight into the heart. The difficulty of the lattice is not in how to go to the lattice, but in what kind of person to go to the lattice. According to the Confucian "University" principle, the person who is in the grid must be a person of Ming Mingde, and it is impossible to talk about the moral object. Only by achieving lattice things can we truly get close to all things, discover all things, understand all things, and finally understand the beauty hidden in all things.
This is not something that can be understood by a coarse mind, but is based on the whole spirituality and pure heart of man, and the superb understanding. But anyone who can drive the times often has this ability. Oda Nobunaga, in this way, can be seen in his attitude towards the treasures collected by the merchants.
The three treasures are the gongbi paintings of Zhao Chang in the Northern Song Dynasty, the flower ornament tea pots produced in the Tang Dynasty, and the heirlooms of the Ashikaga family. For the Northern Song Dynasty relics, Oda tended to appreciate it, and after leaving, he still showed his eyes, grabbed a handful of gold, and then grabbed another handful, which was his approval. As for the flower ornament tea pot produced by Tang, Tang is not necessarily a thing of the Tang Dynasty, and the Japanese admired the Tang Dynasty and used to call China Tang in their early years. A cursory reading of Japan's Sengoku history shows that the Ashikaga family was the one who founded the Muromachi shogunate, and the Ashikaga shogunate ended precisely because the last shogun, Ashikaga Yoshiaki, was expelled by Nobunaga.
Is it the defeated ones, so there is no foot to take? The victor has always shown complete contempt for the person who lost to him, and so has Nobunaga? If this were the case, Nobunaga wouldn't have stood up and looked at it, and would have walked straight through with a sneer. But if so, Nobunaga would not be Nobunaga. To despise an opponent is self-confidence, but how can it insult a treasure? For other reasons, he deliberately despised beautiful things, and then Nobunaga would be really vulgar and despicable. He glanced at it and walked away. The heirloom that proves the Ashikaga family is really a place to be taken. Taking the footless object as an heirloom, it can be seen that the Ashikaga family only followed the old good and had no vision. Beautiful things are different from antiquities, not the longer they are passed on, the better. In addition to its own characteristics, beautiful things need to be the heroes of the times, which can condense the breath of an era, just like the essence.
Holding antiquities is to hold on to the lack of defects, no wonder the Ashikaga family lost to Nobunaga. Heirlooms flow out but do not fall into Nobunaga's eyes. Because antiquities have become mundane, an era should have the shape of an era, and an era should have an era of customs. Chinese said that Tang has poetry, Song has words and songs, that is, the power of creation and the civilization of the times. If there is no upright thing in the era, the difference is different, it is a vulgar era. Looking at ancient artifacts, each generation has a shape, but the Qing Dynasty is rich and boring, and you know that civilization has declined. Without a keen perception of the times, it is the power of impersonal objects, and it will naturally be replaced by the glory of the times. Chinese talk about the times to create heroes, but why is the hero him? Because he can get close to the times, have the eyes of the law, and see the future.
After observing the object, Oda Nobunaga held a horse whip in his hand and asked the people present, is there anymore? This means that although there is something he approves of, there is nothing that he is attracted to. Appreciation is the recognition of the other person, but devotion is the need to satisfy oneself. Isn't Zhao Chang's painting very good, and isn't the teapot produced in Tang also a beautiful thing? There are just two serious problems. First and foremost, both of these things are antiquities and belong to another era. The second problem is even more serious: they are all the creations of Chinese culture, not created by Japan. A wise man at the forefront of the times is a beautiful object on the land where he lives, and what Nobunaga needs is a value that belongs to Japan itself that can match him and lead and create the era!
To put it simply, no matter how good other people's things are, they are others after all, and the backbone personality with self-reliance consciousness needs to be created by their own times and stand up for the world. Nobunaga wants to create a new era in Japan, and what he needs is a civilization that belongs to Japan, and a civilization that can create new forms, which is his desire. Conquering the world is not to shock the world, but to make the world happy and convinced, which is the way of the king.
This is the value of Li Xiu, of course, at this time his name is still Zongyi. The lacquer box is not a valuable thing, so it is laughed at by the merchant in front of the holder, saying that it is a small skill of carving insects. But Zong Yi knew what he was going to do, behaved calmly and lightly, opened the window and placed the box, and injected water as a guide; then he took a look at it too vainly, borrowed a round of bright moon in the sky, and made the lacquer box form a scene of rising tides and birds flying in the night moon.
Such forms were naturally beautiful, and Nobunaga squatted down to look closely, did not say a word, and then took all the gold and poured it on the ground, causing an uproar. Is Nobunaga sure of the beauty of this creation? If it is only like this, it is too thin. The lacquer box is already easy to get, mingyue does not need a money to buy, a moment of inspiration to form a beautiful scenery in front of the eyes, can it really be compared to the previous painstaking artifacts? Nobunaga's heavy reward is like this, which may make people feel suspected of instigating the cunning and belittling the painstaking efforts.
What does Nobunaga admire? What exactly was bought when the gold was thrown to the ground?
After borrowing the moon, the plot of the film is borrowed spring. During the spring season, Zong Yi tied the cherry blossoms to the lattice shelf at the top of the house, and the tea drinkers were unconscious. Only when Zong Yi's disciples opened the door to send the wind and the petals fell from the tea bowl did people return to their senses and be amazed.
This plot appears to be the director's cleverness to add to what Nobunaga admired in the previous episode. It is not the clever heart of the night moon that shines, but the Zong Yi behind the creation of such beautiful forms, the ability to seize the opportunity! Whether it is the bright moon in the sky or the cherry blossoms in the mountains, they can be borrowed by Zongyi for their use. The disciple said that if it were him, he would definitely use the poetry Yae Sakura to make a shaped Yae-gaki.
Such thinking is the idea of ordinary people, full of rules, in common sense, smooth human feelings, let people feel reasonable, but there will never be a sense of surprise, get a greater surprise. So Zong Yi said it was knowledge. Knowledge, that is, is a definite thing, and there is nothing new. People's hearts are full of new and tired of the old, and familiarity will lose its taste, so it always needs freshness. The Confucian tradition emphasizes the self-renewal of the Holy King. For example, every day is new, every day is new, and every day is new.
Everything we see today is a matter of knowledge, reasonable but not to cause people to rise up and cause accidents. Confucianism has poetry, that is, to make people rise, and the rise of people's hearts will not fall into tacky. Therefore, Zong Yi said that tea should conform to people's wishes. What is the human mind? Different people have different minds, so how can they meet so many different minds?
Its meaning is the feeling. Therefore, if it is in line with the heart, it is to make people excited, and people will have feelings when they are excited. The person you want is the one who makes people feel constantly. To be desirable is to make people feel good, not to find out where the other person's intention is, and then to meet it. But whatever panders in the world, it cannot lead.
Zongyi's tea can make people feel good. That's what makes him feel good. His tea satisfies the tea drinkers. His people, on the other hand, could satisfy Nobunaga. Gold thrown to the ground is a common thing, naturally for the sake of the world's talents. Nobunaga's eye is where Munakata can grasp the opportunity and where he can meet people's expectations.
Historically, Munakata became the tea head of Oda Nobunaga. Chatou knows when to organize a tea party, knows how to use a cup of tea to make people rise, lively, is Nobunaga's cooperation seamlessly. So after Zong Yi said that he was in line with his wishes, a shot appeared, he passed through two rooms, saw the flowers in the vase, but did not make any move, and finally chose a camellia flower on the side of the water storage stone mortar, hiding it in his arms!
That's his choice! It's just that Nobunaga chose Zongyi, but is Zongyi's choice nobunaga?

Harmony is a beautiful thing, why is it so dignified? According to the film, at that time, the plot was twenty-one years before the cutting of the abdomen, Zong Yi should have been almost fifty years old at that time, zong Enying was already his wife, how could there be such a plot? It is not a miracle to compare the relationship between men and women to kings and subjects. So the courtship of a woman is, in fact, Nobunaga's desire for Munakata. Zongyi's ability to present beauty everywhere is the real beauty that Oda Nobunaga wants. What is the most beautiful thing in the world is a person, especially a person who can create beautiful things. However, the possession of camellias makes people know that Zong Yixin has other genera.
In the history of Japan, the lover of camellia was Toyotomi Hideyoshi!
