The An-225 transport aircraft is a very large military transport aircraft developed by the Antonov Design Bureau of the former Soviet Union, which has a takeoff weight of 640 tons, which is the world's largest transport aircraft and aircraft with the largest load capacity until 2015.
The only An-225 currently owned by Ukraine.
The aircraft was developed in the Soviet era for the transport of the Space Shuttle "Tempest" and was first tested on December 21, 1988. At present, it is mainly used for commercial air transport, the aircraft can transport super large cargo, the cabin load can reach 250 tons, the top of the fuselage can reach 200 tons, can carry the space shuttle .
The empty weight of one An-225 transport aircraft reached 175 tons.
If averaged on each Hercules, it would pull nearly 22 tons of weight. However, there are wheels under the plane, and it is not that you really have to drag a 22-ton heavy object on the ground and rub it, which is obviously impossible. But the wheels greatly reduce the force of friction, and correspondingly, if the car does not pull the brakes, several adult men can also push it away, but you want more people if you want to lift the car.
So weight actually refers to gravity, which is the force generated by the gravitational attraction of the earth, which is the downward force. And the Hercules, with the help of the wheels of the aircraft, actually give the aircraft a forward force. So Hercules pulling an airplane and lifting a barbell by a weightlifter are two completely different forces.
In fact, compared with the Ukrainian Hercules pulling the transport aircraft, it is more difficult for the Russian Hercules to pull the tank. Because the tank uses metal load wheels and track shoes, the tank mobile device has more friction with the ground than rubber tires, and it is more difficult to pull.
