The film begins with the delivery of serums, and Togo was 12 years old that year, and he was already old in the life of a dog. The town of Togo had an outbreak of diphtheria, which was only available in cities 1,000 kilometres away, and at this time the largest snowstorm in history was seen, and it would undoubtedly be a death sentence to drive a sled dog to get medicine at this time. But Togo's master, Asay, a good sledder, couldn't bear to watch the child die, and he decided to drive the sled dog to get medicine. Although he knew in his heart that it might be a journey with no return, he believed that Togo would be able to do it, Togo was the fastest sled dog in the area, Togo was very weak and sick when he was very young, and its hostess took good care of it and restored it to health. However, this time was destined to be a difficult and uncertain journey, a huge snowstorm seriously hindered Togo's progress, several times were dangerous, and the last time on their return journey, when passing through the melting ice, they were all trapped on a piece of ice floes, Togo bravely jumped ashore, biting the rope and pulling the owner Asay and the other dogs to the shore along with the ice cubes, so that they could re-embark on the journey home. When the owner Asay finally fainted on the sled due to physical weakness, Togo bravely shouldered the responsibility and successfully returned to the station with the sled dog pulling the sled alone. Finally, with the help of others, the serum was finally delivered to the town in time, and all the children were saved. Togo, on the other hand, suffered physical injuries due to this difficult trip, and could never be a sled dog again. Its owner, Arcay, was so touched that he quit his job and spent the rest of his time with Togo until his death. And Togo's heroic feats and deeds will always be remembered by the people of the town.
