When the young man was released from prison, Master was already dead. He returned to the temple and chose to stay behind to practice. Everything seemed to have returned to calm. This is the philosophy and reflection of winter.
It was spring again, a woman had abandoned a baby in a temple, and it was spring again. The little boy monk is doing the same prank...
The continuation of spring, the endless life... Reincarnation doesn't stop.
This is life, there is bitterness and sweetness. Director Kim Ki-duk did not try to cover up the suffering in life, deliberately creating beauty. Because life is full of pain, like a rushing wave, layer by layer. Everyone's soul learns and grows in the middle school again and again.
